What do you prefer as pet Cat or Dog? |
| |
| For me dog because they are not only adorable they are useful to.they can guard your house, although there's also a disadvantage on having dog 1.Clean up 2.House training 3.jumping on people 4.barking at anytime 5.more money you need to spend 6.sometimes violent - "I hate it when dogs get violent they simply bite anyone." 7.eventually you will get attached and the loss will be hard when it happends 8.constant care and attention But I still love dogs. :) | | | | | |

| | Truth here is it depends on your lifestyle. For me, right now, I like cats. Why? Simple, I don't have to be home all the time! With cats, they use a litter box and if you leave some extra food and water out, you could theoretically leave them for a couple days and not be worried about them. Dogs, on the other hand, you have to be home to care for and walk. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE dogs! My mom has 3 and I live with her at the moment, as well as petsitting for other people when they are away. Whether you love cats or dogs, both can be valuable, lovable members of your family. Best of all, you can help save the life of one if you adopt from your local shelter or animal rescue group. Enjoy your pets! :) | | | | | | |

| | I'm a dog person and I always have been a dog person. In fact, I've never had a pet cat although we are discussing getting one now. I've always liked the fact that my dogs are there to both be my companions as well as to be my protection. I love that they want me to take them for walks, so I always am able to get exercise in. And I love that they will cuddle with you and play with you. Yes, there are also certain disadvantages to having a dog, like the clean up and they fact that they still expect attention when you are feeling really bad, but all in all I think dogs are great. | | | | | | |

| | Can I choose .. both ? Currently I have no pet, I used to have both dog and cat, sometime simultaneously. My fav all time dog (and only) I had, Nero, a "mother boxer and father german shepard" (I also didn't belived is posible until I saw the 2 parents ..) was a cat hunter but within less than a week he get used with Albert, a "no race" cat male which was a puppy when become "member of family". Very soon Nero continued to hunt cats (and birds, mice .. omg, was so clean the backyard of that house where I live ..), but when he used to spot Albert somewhere, he behave like a big brother. They were even sleep together. In the middle of my bed, of course ... | | | | | | |

| | For me the only answer would be cats. No other animal will curl up in your lap and purr. A cat will not bark at a squirrel in the next county; a cat does not need to go outside in snow, rain, excessive heat or excessive cold. A cat does not need constant attention. But it's the purring, so calming, so soothing, so comforting, so wonderful. I love my 4 cats and wouldn't be without them. | | | | | | |

| | Give me a cat every time. If You are familiar with your cat they have such interesting personalities. Mine can really give you some dirty looks if she doesn't like what your doing. Cats don't really need a lot of attention. like dogs do. Cats don't jump up on any either like dogs do. No mater what we do we can't break Maggie from jumping on people or licking them, if not their hands she licks their clothes. As stated already cats don't need to be taken for walks or need some one to let them out to do their business if it's a house dog. You can leave a cat for a couple of days with plenty of food and water and they use the litter box. They don't tear things up either, though ours like to get attention by sharping her claws on furniture until you holler at her. She will entertain herself as well as us on her own. So give me a cat any time. | | | | | | |

| | Someone once told me that Dogs love you, and cats tolerate you. In my experience, this is pretty accurate. There are exception of course but dogs make far better companions if you've got the time to care for them. | | | | | | |

| | I have had cats and dogs as pets and I have to say that I prefer dogs. I know people who have had the most adorable and cuddly cats, but mine never were. The cats I had, with the exception of one, were all nuts! I had two that would bite and were very moody. One was nasty and would urinate on everything - clothes, tabletop, furniture - and would scratch and climb the curtains! Not nice. The dogs I have had have been for the most part good - one was a little wild, but right now I have three dogs and they are all for the most part good. They do protect the house and are friendly with strangers and my kids, which is important. So while I agree with the disadvantages of house training, jumping and barking, etc. - for me dogs are still a better bet! | | | | | | |
