This is pretty neat.....(30 second video)... Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how, or it felt awkward?
Recently, a gentleman from? Seattle? created a gesture which could be used to express your thanks and has started a movement to get
the word out..
Please everybody take just a moment to watch..... The Gratitude?Salute
...and then forward it to your friends!??
THEN START USING THE SIGN.

I agree with Carson, it doesn't matter if you served 40 minutes or 40 years ago, the fact of the matter is that you did something for our country that most of us have not. Without our veterans' efforts and sacrifice, we would be nothing. I may disagree with you on a wide variety of political issues, but you will ALWAYS have my respect and gratitude for your service to America.
It is because of our military that I am fortunate to live in a place where I CAN voice my opinion and debate issues without fear of oppression. America is what she is because of all the people who have risked and even given their lives to protect us and our interests around the world.
I can't say it enough, THANK YOU, sincerely and eternally.

What a wonderful idea! Signing is so universal yet most of us don't know how to sign. This one is easy enough to remember and expresses so much. I will pass this video along. Thank you.

THANK YOU for sharing that! It was a beautiful little video with a wonderful message. I hope it catches on! I do stop and say "thank you" to any military personel I come across and when anyone mentions to me (or in earshot of me LOL) in casual conversation that they have served I say "thank you". I teach my children to do so as well, our motto is, "Thank a Vet every chance you get!"
I love the idea of being able to do the thank you sign, it is a simple easy gesture to do even just as you are passing someone on the street or wherever. I really really hope it catches on. I'm going to share that video with everyone I know.
If I remember correctly, you also served in the military, Iriscot, so please accept my THANK YOU for your service.

Why sad? We SHOULD thank the people who volunteer to risk their lives and sacrifice so much to protect our freedoms. It's a GOOD thing to do!
