Property tax goes up, and we just can't save extra money for this month

I just receive the property tax bill this afternoon. And I noticed that my property tax just go up. Along the bill, there was a yellow slip stating that due to the budget cut from state government, my original application of homestead tax exemption was no longer funded. So, that mean I have to pay more tax.
I was hoping that I could save more money each month, but now, I just have to count out on this month. Does your property tax gone up too?

I guess it would depend on how you look at it. I just got a notice from my tax collector saying that our house was now worth $11,000 less than it was a year ago but, our property tax didn't go down. We are still paying the same amount in taxes even though our house lost 11,000 in value.

Absolutely you must not worry about these kind of things Clorissa dear, you must wait until you have a nice young man and let him do the worrying for you. How do you ever sleep at night I just don't know, even the warm milk I suggested probably can't help with the burdens you worry about. You show yourself to be such a caring young woman to worry about all these problems when you haven't even found a house yet.
