Are you a texter or a phone person?

I HATE texting! And don't even mention T-9 to me. I am one of those who just cannot get the hang of it. If I need to talk to you I'll call. I'd rather not call either, just email would be fine with me.

I perfer texting myself. I like doing stuff while on the phone such as playing on the internet. With talking I get distracted or bored and dont want to talk anymore. I also work nights so when Im up andready to talk most ppl are sleeping and the oppposite with my friends. Its just easier when one of us wake up to text and its less of a hassle.

Hi Hdjohnson! I can say that I'm a text person, but depending on the situation, like when I'm driving, I prefer to call than to text.

I prefer texting. Sometimes, you just want your friends to know something like maybe you're too busy tomorrow to see her, it's much easier to text her than to call her. When I call, I have to deal with all the greetings and goodbyes and talking while walking on the street or on a noisy bus.

I'm definitely a phone talker. I even have friends that I will call some evenings and we will sit and have a beer over the phone so that neither one of us has to drink and drive.

Whenever I talk to my mom, we usually talk at least an hour, sometimes longer. We only talk about once a week, so she has to catch me up with what is going on in my hometown. Which is great. Sometimes it's good stuff, sometimes it is bad.

Plus, I have an ancient cell phone plan and my cell phone company charges me 40 cents to text someone, and 25 cents to receive. So that is probably a huge part of it. If I had free texting, I would probably drive people nuts texting them all of the time. LOL

i think it depends from what kind of communication are you referring to...so i think that if i must communicate a short message or a confirmaation and something like that i would prefer text messages,sms,mails and so on..if you must have a long and articulate discours with other pesons so i will prefr the phone call than messages or yping some text as well!!

At this point I do not text, and I hate text speak. I doubt I will ever want to do much texting. I love e-mail, though. I guess my old age is showing.

On daily basis i text more than calling so im defenitely the texting type plus its much more cheaper to text than call.

Hmmmm, well I like to do both. I do love to text though but I always go way over my texting lately, when I get the bill I regret it. To be honest though I get very annoyed sometimes when some people text me. At times I will be so busy I don't have time to be grabbing my phone and texting to answer their question. So if I don't text back they just keep on texting. I get so mad and think, why in the world can't they just pick up the phone and call me if it's that important?! So although I do love texting, yeah, I guess I'm more of a phone person.
