It Looks Like Our Wish Is Going to Come True Afterall!

Earlier today I posted on here saying that I sent a letter to the host of my favourite radio show on Sunday afternoons, asking for a special music request for my husband's and my second wedding anniversary. I just got a really nice e-mail from him saying that he will be happy to play something special for us on his program on Sunday September 6th. Hubby and I will be very excited, since the program features just the kind of music we fell in love to. We both like music from Eastern Europe, and the program is all Croatian music. One of the first things we discovered we had in common was our love for that kind of music. If you're on line on Sept 6th, go to http://www.ckwr.com and listen between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM You'll hear a song dedicated to us. :)

How sweet! I'll calendar it and see if I can't give it a listen. Congrats on your two year anni. I was recently on the radio, web radio, I got meet my boss in California and be on one of his radio shows. I dedicated some hard rock songs to my kids and my wife said they were jumping around all over the bed.

That is so cool and very special! Happy Anniversary in advance to you both! Perhaps you could use your camera and record the dedication and song when the guy does it? I don't know if that's possible but if you posted it at Gather, we could hear it too. With my life and family committments, catching the dedication when it happens live would be almost impossible for me.

Oh that is so wonderful and how romantic that this music is what brought you together. Will try to remember but you know me, can't remember my own phone number soooo :( If I do forget though will wish you a wonderful anniversary in advance and congratulations :)
