Did God Just Choose This One Solar System For Mankind?  |

|  If Earth is the only planet in our known Universe that can sustain human life, why are there billions of Suns out there? Are we alone in this Universe of ours? If so, don't you feel lonely amongst all the Solar Systems out there? Can we just be one lonely earth type planet? Are we that special?

I can't believe that we are all there is in the Universe. It's just so vast and varied, there would be little sense in God having put only this one planet together full of societies. I hope they're out there, anyway!

| |  I'm very sure that we aren't alone in the universe. I have seen ufo's, so I'm pretty convinced :)
Also it seems to me it's extremely unlikely that earth would be the only planet in existence with life on it. According to wikipedia, scientists think there are around 125 billion galaxies in the universe. If even 10% of sun-like stars have planets orbiting them, there are at least 6.25x10*18 solar systems. If even one billionth of those have planets capable of supporting life in them, there are at least 6.25 billion planets that could support life in the universe. I'm pretty sure that ours isn't the only planet with life on it.
