Do you have movie night with your kids? |
| |
| Do you have movie night with your kids? We just started this. We have movie night every monday night. We get a movie for our kids to watch and have pizza. We watch one movie before bed. This is a good way for us to wind down as a family. I put our autistic son to bed first and the movie is just for our daughter. He has the pizza with us. This makes her feel special. | | | | | |

| | I have very fond memories of movie nights with my kids. We had them occasionally; usually on the weekends. We also had game nights which were very enjoyable. We had a favorite board games to play just like we had a favorite movies! I even purchased each child a new board game each Christmas. We had hours and hours of fun playing games or watching movies! | | | | | | |

| | I haven't started game night yet. I'm a little reluctant because I think our daughter would get mad if anyone but her won and I'm not sure that is the right course of action to take. (letting her win all the time). I know she needs something to show her she's doing good but I haven't figured it all out yet. LOL Sometimes pulling teeth is easier then deciphering kids. | | | |

| | Some of the stuff you can watch with a four year old has jokes only an adult would find as a joke. It's really cool watching cartoons for their hidden meaning. lOL | | | |

| | Unfortunately I do not have any children so no, I don't have a movie night with my kids. It's great that your daughter can feel special this way, but why do you do your movie night on a school night? | | | | | | |

| | So it is special. She doesn't stay up any later, it's just different for her. I want to start doing games with her, but I need to wait until she is a little older. Besides, if I did a movie night on the weekend, how special would that be? It's easy to make it special if it's a school night. | | | |

| | Why do you have to wait until she is older for games? There are plenty of board games that are suitable for her age. As far as doing things on a school night, as she gets older and has more homework and as your son gets older you'll have to make changes to the routine. | | | |
