Would you go out on a blind date?

The prospect of meeting a stranger is exciting and at the same time tense. Many would think twice before venturing into a blind date, but there are few who might just think of it as a casual meeting and go. I've never had the opportunity to take a woman on a blind date, but I'm sure there are many here who would have, just like the women. How did you react to your first blind date?

I meet two girls through blind date. The first experience was not good enough as the gal I meet was a total fraud. She is such a big lier that I never came to know what is lie and what is truth. I just lost my faith over blind date. But after that when I again went for a date with another gal, the experience was quite good. She talked well and we became good friends. However, no love relationship got developed but we are still good friends and exchange our views from time to time. Blind date is not that much bad as people think off especially older ones. But for gals, before going for blind dates, they must ensure proper safety for themselves and try to meet at some public with some traffic there.

Mastinet, now that you mentionedabout your dates, how did it begin and how do you arrange a blind date? Its something which has baffled me for long, and I would really like to know how a blind date is arranged. Like you said, one needs to be careful with a blind date and women especially, need to be on the guard. So, when such a situation arises, how do a man and woman become close and enjoy each other's company?

Personally I would not go on a blind date. I would not want to deceive the other person and what makes it more difficult is that I would not know the person at start. Who knows if she is telling lies and trying to trick me. I would prefer to go on a date with someone who I have known for a while and who I can trust.
