I have just heard on the news that Edward Kennedy died last night. He had been suffering from a cancerous brain tumor. He was the oldest living brother in the Kennedy family. He was a strong man and lived his life to the end.I was sadden by his death. What is your feelings about his death?

I do feel for his family. Im sure that they have watched him suffer over the his last day of life. With him being such an active man I bet it had a real hard time.

I like that saying. If you think about it there is much truth into that.

Now I do not agree with the man's politics but that has nothing to do with my opinion in this matter.
I am glad he has passed. For his own sake. Cancer can be very painful and the quality of life when one is that sick from it is paramount to torture. I am Glad God has taken him to a place where he can have some peace from the pain of his disease.

Yes, he was a great Senator and will surely be missed by his family, the Senate, and the citizens of the United States. He must have suffered terribly from the cancer and knew that he didn't have long to live. As a cancer patient, I applaud him as a battler of his disease, and for the service he afforded this nation.

I was thinking earlier about his ordeal battling the cancer. I know they said he found out about the tumor like 18 months ago. That didn't seem to slow him down any at that time. I think it has only been in the last month or so that he started to become worse. I say his family is very sadden but proud of him too. A lot of mixed emotions going on. I appreciate your kind words.

He supported his country to the fullest. One thing that I admire about him was that he never gave up. When he found out that he had the tumor, he didn't give in it. For the next 18 months he fought all the way. A very strong willing man.
