 I heard or should I say read this line from the Bollywood movie Saawariva and Ithought it was great question to ask your partner.It implies all the marriage vows.Sickness and health,richer or poorer,For better for worse.Since I will never marry I thought this question was better.I know I could suffer hardships with my man . As long as we remain connected,I could live through anything. Question. Would you ask your partner this question? If your partner asked you this question would you say yes?

Like maybe 20 years younger I would more likely be able to answer "yes" to that question. Now that I'm older. I have two children. I watched my mother die. I am watching my father give up on life and trying to help him. Those "hardships" would not only affect me. They would also affect my children and my father.
I also am more aware of my own mortality and what it might mean to grow old alone or to grow old and not have the means to care for myself.
I'm not saying that love isn't worth enduring some hardships over, but sometimes when you look at the big picture some things have to come before love.

I hope he can eventually find a little joy in each day. when the actor said this line,he and his love were just starting out, all alone without any family help.when I thought about the question I thought of illness and loss.I would support my man through anything.I don't have kids.Both of my parents are dead so I can be that available.Take Care.it does get better. | |
