People who are afraid of Frogs and Toads

Yes, when I was very young, we had a water filter in the kitchen. Some nights, we will hear some sounds behind this earthen filter. So, as a kid, I was curious and went there to look. Armed with a small torchlight, I will peer and peek into the dark recesses. Suddenly a pear of gleaming orange-yellow eyes stared back at me. the it let off an eerie croak and its under part of its mouth moved up and down. I screamed in fright. My dad came running and told me it is only a toad. It was real hideous-looking,I must say. In later years, when I married, My husband would catch frogs from time to time. I followed him on one of those frog hunting expeditions into the secondary forests. Suddenly from the wet mangrove, something leaped in front and landed on my arm. It was a greenish frog and croaked as it landed on me. I screamed in utter disgust. Since then I have kept away from both frogs and toads. It is not really the fear of them but more the disgust to look at them. Do you like frogs and toads? Do you have nay untoward experience with them. Do tell us your stories.
