Did You Have Curfew As A Teen? If So What Was It?

I had a curfew as teen in highschool I had to be in by 10pm on a school night and 12pm on weekends I had strict parents from the old school However they weren't the same with my brothers of course they got out a lot more and got to stay longer than I did.

Talking about strict my mom was the worst, 8pm on school nights, 9 weekends, before we moved my mom would let us go outside only to come to the window to tell us to come back upstairs when we moved the first thing we asked was did we live in the front when she said not, that was it lol

I can relate to that I can remember having to come in the house as soon as the street lights came on I had better be either on the porch or in the house.That was through elementary and middle school.

I know what you mean, I don't think curfews are anything like they were when I was growing up, these young kids hang out later than me and I am grown go figure
My grandson will have a curfew you can believe that, I may not let him go out by himself at all if I had my way, that would be a bad thing right? I will be strict and I want my daughter to be the same way with him after all strict can be a good thing, I turned out pretty good lol

Before I drove my cousin and I had to be in by nightfall, after I got my license though we where allowed out until 10 during the week and midnight on the weekends. we pushed it a lot though. My kids couldn't have that now where we live because our town has a curfew.

I thin kit is but normal for parents to impose curfew and this is to discipline their children. As for me, i didn't experienced the exact time lets say 10pm curfew but it is up to me what was the late time for me to go home and I just determine it myself. Since I am a good child I guess, I don't want my mom to worry too much and I seldom go home very late.

Yes I did. My parents were pretty strict as well. I had to be in by 9 on school nights & 11 wkends, until my senior yr then it 10 & midnight. Now that I'm older & have children I think curfews are a good idea. It's not that you don't trust your kid it's all the other stuff that happens late at night. There are so many people that drink and drive the later it gets & would prefer to protect my children by having them come in earlier. I'm sure this will be an issue with them when they reach that age- I still have a few more years to go on this.
