Hi all readers,It is a fact that once some Christians went to the final Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)and tried to prove that Prophet Jesus(pbuh)was not only a son of God but a God also.On this the Holy Prophet(pbuh)replied:
"GODS NEVER TAKE BIRTH FROM WOMEN'S WOMB AND THEY DO NOT REQUIRE FOOD AND
WATER TO LIVE,WALK IN STREETS AND THEN DIE ON THE CROSS(as you falsely
believe)."
Those people had no reply to this Prophetic argument and went back. And God Almighty also says in the Holy Quran:
"MOST CERTAINLY THEY COMMITTED BLASPHEMY WHO SAID,"ALLAH ,HE IS INDEED THE
MESSIAH,MARY'S SON;" WHEREAS THE MESSIAH HAD SAID,"O CHILDREN OF ISRAEL,
'WORSHIP ALLAH ALONE,WHO IS MY LORD AND YOUR LORD AS WELL."WHOSOEVER JOINS
A PARTNER WITH ALLAH,ALLAH SHALL FORBID HIM THE GARDEN,AND HELL SHALL BE
HIS ABODE."
.................(Surah Al-Maidah-72,The Holy Quran)...............................
And making any associates or mediators of one God Almighty is clear Polytheism, which is the biggest and only unforgivable sin in Islam as Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
" SHIRK (POLYTHEISM) IS THE ONLY SIN THAT ALLAH DOES NOT FORGIVE,AND HE
FORGIVES WHAT EVER HE PLEASES,SINS OTHER THAN THIS,FOR WHOSOEVER ASSOCIATES
ANY OTHER PARTNER WITH ALLAH,DOES INDEED FORGE A BIG LIE AND COMMIT THE MOST
HEINOUS SIN."
............................(Surah Nisa-48,The Holy Quran)........................
What do you think about Polytheism and what other religions say about it ??

I think you probably just opened Pandora's Box of Insult to Injury at your feet.. lol
There are many religions that claim to be of one God or deity.. and follow the teachings of proclaimed prophets, and just as many that practice polytheism. The Bible and the Qaran are alleged words, as perceived by a single (or many) followers and prophets; written down, passed down, left to interpretation, encounter minor changes, reprint.. years pass... re-interpretation, minor changes slowly become large ones. I've in the past read several different versions of the Bible and I have to say, it's AMAZING how many different re-writes there are of the same verse. It really minds me of that silly gradeschool game... Where the first person whispers something into the second persons ear and it goes all the way down the line.. When it gets to the last person they're supposed to say what THEY heard, and see if it matches exactly what the first person said. And honestly... it seldomly occurs.
I'm sorry, but I eliminate these types of things from my life. If I am going to believe in a god or deity, it's going to be a personal relationship.. Not one hat involves liasons handing me a guide on what they heard or think they heard, and I don't need a saint or a prophet to whisper to that god or deity on my behalf. If I cant have a personal relationship with whom I choose to believe. I don't have faith in man.

Thanks for your urgent reply to this discussion. This is not meant to hurt feelings of some readers rather I just wanted to reveal facts about one of the biggest misunderstandings or Sins of human beings. You are right things do change with the passage of time like all previous divine Books or scriptures including the Torah and the Bible. In fact God Almighty had not taken the responsibility of their protection as we find in the case of the last Divine Book, the Holy Quran.....Sir william Muir had once rightly said about it and I quote:
"There is probably in the world no other book which has remained
twelve centuries with so pure text."
(Sir William Muir)
Probably you donot know how God Almighty is protecting this holy book.He has made it very easy to memorize it by heart. There are Millions of such fortunate Muslims in this world who have the honor to memorize this big book in Arabic by heart even if they do not know this language at all.Even children of 7 years have remembered it.You just collect one Quran Memorizer each from Africa,Europe,Asia,America,Far East and Saudi Arabia and you tell them to recite specific verses or chapters from Quran without consulting it.You keep recording their recitations and then compare them.....You will not even find a minor variation or difference among them.I challenge whole the world to produce even a single person who has remembered the Bible by heart.......And you will find Millions of such Quran Memorizers in this world who are reciting this holy book by heart daily in the Night Prayers in almost all the big mosques of all cities......You can see it your self how Allah Almighty is recording this holy Book in brains of some Muslims. Is'nt it a big miracle of Islam ??

VERY WELL SAID ZOEY7879!!!!! I find it funny that those who search for God depend on all these holy books written by man. Awapak, you are clearly bias toward your holy book. You freely discount all but yours. Your holy book is no different than the others. Do you know why??? If this was God's true holy book, He would make sure everyone on Earth had a copy. If God came to me and told me to get everyone in the world a copy of your holy book then told me how to fund the project then EVERYONE WOULD GET THEIR COPY!!! God does not do this nor will He ever! I further put to you that this book has corrupted your thinking. God is not the ruling, controlling, and condemning Being you picture. God is above all these petty things man holds onto. God is UNCONDITIONAL love with far greater intellect than man or any of man's writings. I hope this makes you think and starts you on a journey to discover the truth. God loves all His children Unconditionally. I wish you the very best.

For me, polytheism is equally irrational as monotheism. Atheism and monism are the most sensible.
Dualistic monotheism makes us puppets in control of 'God'; and the irony is that the same God punishes us for the various sins according to Him, despite the fact that actually He's the one who's responsible in making us the kind of people we are!
What kind of a game is this almighty playing when He 'creates' us only to send us to the so-called heaven or hell? What does He achieve doing that?
Please, no more fairy tales!

Thanks for responding.I think you are hiding a big truth. Both the things are gulf- apart from each other. Please look into your soul or inner self if you can and ask this question from your soul and sub-conscience.I am sure you will find lot of hatred for polytheism and great love for Monotheism.......This is due to the reason that God Almighty had taken an Oath from all human souls before creation of Adam that they will only worship Him alone without indulging in Polytheism.Unfortunately we forgot this Oath and started associating other partners and mediators.God Almighty was kind to send about 1,24000 Prophets to this earth to remind us this Oath or Promise. That's why Prophet Jesus(pbuh)is coming again to tell the truth that he was neither a God nor a son of God and he was never crucified but was lifted above alive by God Almighty.....These are not fairy tales !!

I'm hiding truth? Um... not really.
I'd better ask you. Why are you limiting the omnipotence of the so-called creator when you say that God cannot take various forms? God can do anything, right?
You: "Oath from all human souls before the creation of Adam that they will only worship Him"
Where? When? I don't seem to recall! Do you?
However, the hypocrisy is clearly evident. When some other believers say that they believe in re-incarnation (I too do, myself) creationists say that if that is the case, we should have remembered our past lives; whereas on the contrary it is apparently possible to determine your past lives through yogic experiences. What about this situation? See?
You: Prophets, Jesus, coming again etc.
Hey, instead of making all this fuss, why didn't 'God' re-program us to work as He wished us to? What is the point in making us go through so many hardships because of His inability?

""GODS NEVER TAKE BIRTH FROM WOMEN'S WOMB AND THEY DO NOT REQUIRE FOOD AND
WATER TO LIVE,WALK IN STREETS AND THEN DIE ON THE CROSS"
Clearly Muhammad is a polytheist, since his words imply the existence of more than one God.
all the best urban

Islam is not any more truthful than Christianity. Maybe a little more logical becuase it does not believe in a crucified saviour, but nothing to do with truth.
I am glad to notice you pointing out the flwas of christianity, but saddened that cannot find any flaw in Islam.
Just because your book says polytheism is a sin, polytheism does not become a sin. The monotheist god of Islam is as imaginary as any of the gods of polytheist gods.
