Your first instinct  | |  Do you think that your first instinct is normally right?
I don't mean that you stubbornly stick to your first idea about someone or something, but that you keep it in your mind that you felt that way about someone or something for a reason?
Or are you one of those people that will ignore your instincts and go purely on what you see?
For example: the owner of our building at work, now I for reasons I cannot quite figure out find the man highly sinister, he always puts me on edge just by being there!
Now I am nice to the man, but I do not trust him, he has given me no reason not to trust him, but he has also (and I think more importantly) not given me a reason to trust him.
Now he has recently been quite nice to me, but I still don't trust him.
Which type of person are you?

i do give importance to my first instinct but i don't always take action on the first instinct. i feel the first instinct is the perfect instinct but still i wait for the second one to come. when i get the second instinct then i weigh the first and second together and come to a conclusion.

I keep them in mind while interacting with the people, but I reserve my judgement until later when I have concrete proof. Of course, that doesn't mean that until that time, I'm over-friendly with that person for whom my instinct alarms are going crazy. I keep a polite relationship and try to know about him both from himself and from others. If he is reluctant to open himself up, than I also keep my secrets to my own and keep a safe distance.
