This morning I cooked some eggs for my kids breakfast. The cookware that I have in her right now is non-stick ( teflon ) one. Somehow the non-stick surface kind of ruin already. The scarmbble eggs come up okay, but the sunny side eggs is totally ruin, it became half scrambble and hald omelette. It's been a month I've been wanting to buy the new one. I can't decide if I should get the stainless steel or the Non-Stick. Actually I prefer to get the non-stick, but my husband said stainless steel is better. Is stainless steel make the cooking come out better? I look around the other day, stainless steel is little bit more expensive. Anybody knows what's the advantage between these 2? Thank you !

Stainless steel is wonderful if you buy the most expensive (and they are very heavy). I prefer non-stick because of my back problems. I have a couple of good, small, stainless steel pots, but that is all. As for non-stick skillets, I put them in warm water right after I use them. Half an houtr later I wash them with a soft pad with mild deterdent. I always buy the best there too. It´s worth it and you save at the end. For me Tefal is the best there. Take care

I used to cook only with the non-stick cookware, but for our wedding gift, my husband and I were given a set of stainless steel cookware. So, now I only cook with stainless steel. It is a bit of a learning curve, but now that I've used stainless steel I will never go back. I don't find that I have a problem with my food sticking to it, and it has held up better than my Teflon ever did. The entire skillet gets hot (with the exception of the handles) so I find that food cooks quicker. And, it also doesn't leech chemicals into your food. Yes, it is more expensive than its counterpart, but all in all, it is well worth it because stainless steel is going to last longer.
