Pass the Ace - anyone familiar with this game?

This is more of a test/survey than anything. I'd just like to know if anyone has heard of this game or knows how to play it. I've been playing, literally, since childhood with my family (yes.. parent-approved gambling, I guess), and everyone I introduce the game to always thinks that I (or my family) made it up. I'm fairly certain we did not make this game up. So I'm here at MyLot trying to prove my point, hopefully you guys can help me out! What are your other nick names for this game? (For me - we call it a variety of things. '**** On Your Neighbor', for one!!) Do you have any strategy to it when you play it? (I try to read peoples' faces..But of course everyone I play with bluffs amazingly well!). Where and when did you learn how to play it? Do you have any different variations on the game or ways to make it more interesting that you could share? Hopefully this will spark a semi-interesting discussion.
