Do you habitually off your MSN or Yahoo after using it?

Well i turn off Yahoo and when i dont use it, thats my usual habit and i like offline msgs if my friends want to!

yes that has happened to me afew times. i always remember to log off of chatting when i am done chatting online. i totally agree it can be embarassing to speak to someone when you think they are still there but they really are not while chatting.

When I turn on my laptop, my msn and yahoo crops up automatically so I get to see who is online and offline and then if I want to chat I will and if ever I have to do something else I just log out in both for security.

I always sign it off after i use yahoo, to secure my account, to not allow the other member of the family to access on it.

I am the only one that is using my PC, and even my other siblings would like to do some research, I will surely have my MSN status into "away" and putting a remark on the top that I am not available.. Since I am the only one that using the IM services while I online, I seldom log off and let it run till the whole system shut down at night.. Provided I am in a public PC, or even at office, then I will surely log off my IM services once I leave the PC and also delete all the chat history.

For me, I have on the habit of logging out the MSN account. I tend to open the E-mails and chat with my friends about 20 times everyday. So ,it is not convenient to switch between logout and login. Of course, some people may have a habit off MSN or Yahoo after using it for thrie secrets, anyway, which is right too. Happy myLotting!

I know exactly what you are saying. Once I forgot to log off MSN and when I was away my mum used my notebook to check her mails. My friend casually pinged mum,thinking it was me,using some rather harsh words, coz we are good freinds and use such language. She then told him, its not me. Haha!! When I got back and pinged him, he yelled at me.LOL. So now I see to it that I log off when I am done using the messgenger.
