On the next All My Children

I miss getting the scenes so much, the trauma from it all caused me to turn my back on soap operas a few minutes after I was born. If I had a choice between nailing my own lips to a tree and watching "Days of our lives", "Young and the restless", "All my children" or anything vaguely similar, I'd be bringin' my own hammer!

I for one look forward to the scenes from the next days show. I think they still do it on Friday, but I just started to notice lately that they are showing scenes like you said for the next show, or even a show that is on that channel later in the evening. I like the sneak peaks. I do hope they bring them back, although I notice now they are doing like full commercials at other times during the day and they end up giving away things that are not going to happen for several days. Like on One Life To Live, I knew Brotte was going to get shot almost a week before he actually did. That kind of ruins the show when it is actually on.

I think they showed the next thing today after a couple of years or so of not doing it here in my local area. I'm guessing it is up to the local station. I suppose people could just go online and check out the previews there but it would be a pain when they could just end the show with clips, which would be better, like they used to do all the time.

YES!! i hate it! when i started watching i always looked forward to seeing previews at the end of the next episode but now its like you never know what show they will show.. its so annoying

I watch AMC, OLTL and occasionally GH too and I am annoyed with the missing scenes. Worse yet is when the preview isn't even for a soap, it's for what's happening on The View. Do they not understand that we are tuning into a show because we like THAT show?

You are not the only one the TV channel I watch All My Children on does not show the preview for the next show. I also like it when they did and it does make me mad when they show the other two because I do not watch them either.

I don't think that show is on air here. I've never heard of it, but since I don't watch ANY TV I possibly wouldn't know. Although my office is several rooms away from the lounge room, I do hear a lot of TV. (No, my husband isn't deaf, but one could be forgiven for thinking he is.) I hear the advs more than the programs, even though "they" tell us that advs are NOT louder. It seems to me that the last couple of advs before returning to the program are always scenes from the coming episode of another show. No I don't miss seeing coming episodes, because I don't watch any episodes. Is that a cure for you? Just stop watching.

Trust me it's not just on your local channel. They are screwing with us too. I've notice this change for a while now, and it gets under my skin because I was always looking forward to seeing what's going to happen tomorrow. Oh! I am so addicted to my soaps, and I find it hard to let them go, even after they find ways to piss me off from time to time. Well I watch all three shows you mentioned, and I do see scenes for the others when I'm paying attention, so I can forgive All My Children for their sins.
