Persons interested in 'earth- friendly' homes.....what construction projects are  

I did construction in Sun Valley Idaho about 20 years ago and worked on a bunch of solar, and different types of earth friendly homes! I was always interested in this type of construction, I used to subscribe to "Mother Earth News!" it is a great resource for this! Heres another link to a great resource:http://oikos.com/ I've gotten plans from them for a solar adobe home I plan to build in Mexico where I currently live! It's very easy to build a roof unit to get hot water for all your needs including a hot tub! LOL! The solar electric units have come down in price a lot over the last year, but the batteries are still very expensive. I'm in a good area for the solar adobe home, but adobe is hard to find any more, New Mexico now is the hot spot for these types of home! I've written other responses on this topic, maybe you could do a mylot search for them! tdemex
