hi,mylotting,today i read a news online,the report said that a few extra pounds could mean fewer years,if it is true,it is quitely a bad news for human beings.so we need to do enough exercise to keep healthy.from now on i will do exercise regularly.i want to live a happy life with my family members.let's make it ~

No, from all that I have read, if you have quite a few extra pounds, chances are well that you may have fewer years, but there are a few instances where heavier people were healthier than lighter ones. The issue was how they were living their lives, particularly their eating and exercise habits.
If you are very overweight or obese without exercising, then every few pounds you lose will increase your health, but if you do too much too fast, it is even more dangerous.
If you are having trouble with your body because of your weight, like you start breathing heavy after walking a short distance, or you are having trouble bending over, you should see a doctor and follow his advice.
But if you are only a few pounds over, and you are eating healthy and exercising (or doing manual labor), I wouldn't worry about it.
