I see, once again, That Yoko has ruined another Beatles Anthology.

I've been watching the Beatles Anthology on Vh1, and have caught parts 1 and 2. I am sure that part 3 has been 'cleansed' by Yoko, because it deals with the split of the Beatles, and her part in it. Her name is prominently displayed on the credits of this series, therefore I don't expect any truth to come out. In the past she has tried to squelch biographies on her and John. The truth is, John would have left Yoko if he hadn't been assassinated by that nut, and probably would have reassumed his relationship with May Pang. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the old clips of the Beatles. Another annoying thing is the fact that this series is of course being used as a vehicle to make Yoko more money-the new Guitar Hero game, The Beatles, is being released on the 9th of this month. I'm sure she insisted on that, crafty nut that she is.1 response

except the Beatles anthology series is over ten years old - originally made and broadcast arround 95/96, about the same time as the Anthology albums + the 're-union beyonmd the grave new Beatles singles' of Free As A Bird and Real Love.
Yeah Yoko had a say in how things were portrayed but so did Paul, George and Ringo, and I don't think she's so powerful that she'd force a tv station to show a series to tie in with the poducts release, more likely to be the record company/computer game manufactory's pr division pulling the strings. Paul McCartney and George's widow also have to approve anything Beatles (not sure if Ringo bothers any longer now he's rejected all the fans) - Yoko doesn't own the brand you know.
