How did you feel when your discussions get in to the myLot digest?

Hi, I feel so happy when my discussion get in to the myLot digest. Also, i am glad that my discussion reached the inbox of many of the myLotters in the email... One of my first day discussion went to the digest and i was so happy. Later, three of my discussions reached the myLot digest with same interest which was new created by me. I am very happy to receive responses to the discussion started by me in my own interest. Also, very happy that 85 people join my interest within a week too.. Hmm.. I agree that i joined very less number of interest so only i received my discussions in the myLot digest. Certainly not so great to see. Because i got the digest only for the interests i join right? How did you feel when your discussions in the digest? How many responses did you got for those discussions while at the digest? How many total responses did you received after it reached the myLot digest? (My first digest discussion got 33 responses when reached the digest and totally it got 74) In which interest did you got the place in myLot digest? (mylot.com first then all three in the interest fun with friends) The most importantly do you note the myLot digest daily? Did you created any new interest? How was your discussions in your new interest? What was your interest name? Have a great day.

Hmmmmm I don't know because i haven't seen my discussions in the mylot digest how ever i kept seeing my in the recent, top and hot discussions.. well, mysdianit was very much happy seeing your discussions and topics reached the mylot digest, which i am also impressed. i have created a few new interest on my part but wasn't good at exposing them.

Hey didn't you realise that your discussion reached the myLot digest? After your response i checked the inbox. I am so Depressed right now... dated 5th september 2009.. (Highest rated discussion).. I am "Still" not doing mylot tasks.... 29th august 2009 Also these two are come under the great interests. Not like the interest i got like 'fun with friends' with only 80+ members.. That is quite funny. But i understand what you're trying to say. I haven't had my discussion appear on the mylot digest though. Although I might have to check again since I haven't really checked those mylot digest recently. I spend most of my time looking straight through the discussion here instead of via the digest. Am not sure which works better though. But I rarely participate in discussions recently since I am busy doing mylot tasks. I've just found out how addicting that is once you see the earnings counter go up

Hi abby, Oh! you are addicted to tasks!. I am not a good in the English, so i don't tried it..

So, you are not checking the myLot digest daily. Did you turn the notification off? I see the digest, but rarely participate from that. I had participated two or three discussions from that till now.. Have a great day.

No, the mylot digest is turned on. I receive it on my email but i rarely check it. If I do open the digest, i rarely use it to get ideas on which discussion I should respond to. but i do comment back on additional responses I have made on any discussion because it makes it easier to track down all discussions I have responded to.

You did so well to reach the Digest so soon!

I had been here ages before one of my discussions got there and I was so thrilled I even took a screenshot

Now it happens quite often if and when I start a discussion. Ilove seeing friends get there too and as Iknow I get a thrill when it happens to me, I am also thrilled for them too! Keep it up dbu!

I think it has a lot to do with commenting back everyone knows by now that they will get a comment if they respond and I think that helps an awful lot in getting responses

It is all to do with teamwork because it takes both rsponses and comments to get a discussion into the tops. No responses would mean nothing to comment back to

Hi mysD, Whenever you started the discussion it not only go to the myLot digest, but also becomes the highest rated discussion of the day. I had seen nearly 4 times your discussion inthe home page in the highest rated list

. Surely, your friends like to attend your discussion and you are great in the discussion making.

Also, you get in to the #9 in single day in my interest. Great! Have a great day.

hi dbu the king. yeah, it feels so good, at least for myself, to get my discussions included in the digest. i have a separate folder only for mylot digests. if one has my discussion included, i retain it, otherwise, i delete the email. so far i have about ten email notification of mylot daily digest with my discussions included. neil

i have email sortie or filter in my email account, so whenever a certain email with a similar topic, say mylot digest, it will automatically goes to that folder, not in the main inbox. so far, the most number of responds to my discussions included in the digest is 31. it helps a lot to a discussion be included in the digest, as it will pull in some more responses. by this time, that discussion with 31 responses when it landed in the digest, has now 50 plus. that was a year ago already and it is in the mylot.com interest. i remember one interest that i created, but it never catch a lot of audience, since it's about mylotters from our province.

Yes, when our discussion went to the myLot digest definitely it will get lots of response... My three discussion which went to myLot digest don't attract more response because there are only 89 joined it till now. So, only it reach for them.. I know this facility available in my inbox, but lazy to set all these..

That's a good idea. I have seperate folder in which i move all the notification after i commented it and also myLot digest. But i don't have idea to put the digest in seperate folder like you. I have now 5 of such notifications.. So, you see those emails frequently to make yourself happy... How about the number of responses? Have a nice day.

Hi ya dbuthking I made it there last week I think it was. I haven't been in it for ages so it was nice to appear in it. What I would really love to know is how does a discussion qualify to be in the digest? It surely can't be the amount of responses recieved because I have seen discussions in their that have gained less than mine and mine still didn't make it. I think it might be the amount of responses recieved in a short period of time. I would like to know though!

That's almost correct dbu but comments count as well as responses. Rather than responses it is the general activity which counts and you can see which dicussion will make the Digest as they are the ones which are top in each interest in the 'hot' dicussions.

Hi, Sorry if i am wrong. I know little about the myLot digest. If it is wrong please correct me.. In myLot digest they send the top 10 discussions in the 10 interests we joined. If you are posted a discussion in the myLot.com and your discussion receives the 50 response and someone else's discussion in the same interest receives 51 responses in that day. Then the discussion with 51 response will be appear in the digest. If your discussion at someother small interests, example 'fun with friends' (created by me) which has only 20 response and no one discussion has more than that. Then your discussion will appear in the digest if that interest come up in the top 10 interest you received, I don't know how correct i am. So, check it yourselves.. Have a nice day.

I only start noticing myLot daily digest after your previous topic of discussion....you see how blur am I..LOL So, I quickly check in my inmail box and found one which I have not deleted...if I am not mistaken it should be under the interest 'people'. I think it hit 30 responses during Digest and it climbs to 77 responses. I only start topic with 'people' and 'life'. Lately only I try on others... All the best and keep on myLotting :)

Hi Iriene, I noticed many times that your discussion reach my inbox via myLot digest. Mostly i had attended those discussion before itself. I had reached digest only in the small interest. But you really did it in the interest with over 35,000 members. Really appreciate it. You are genius to attract more responders. You know how to do it.

I naturally feel very happy. But for few months, nothing for me is coming in digest. Last week there was something very weird. I started a discussion, which was at the top of Today's hot discussion page for long time prior to the mylot Digest appeared for that day.Just last moment it vanished from the top discussion and Mylot digest was there after 5 minutes,. which discussion was to be there,never went in digest. I am so hurt.

Today's top is different. It need not to be at the digest. If your discussion stays longer in the hot tab, your chances for getting in to the digest is more, if no one else got more than your response in the discussion at the same interest. Have a great day..

hehe.. I am not at the top. Just have only one good one. Rest i don't know how many of them received. Because i have very few interest i added. So, getting in to the digest as one in the 30 interest is not a big achievement. Because myLot digest has only 10 interests. so, the chances are 1/3 if i have more responses in the particular interest. Have a great day..

hi dbutheking I am ashamed to admit I dont know how many times I'was inthe mylot digest but I suppose I was as I have been here for a long'time,I just never noticed. How silly of me but I know I have got a lot of best responses and someof my discussions have got a lot of replies.I just love to mylot and seem to not care to much to be in the spotlight.

I have made it in the digest a few times from memory but I couldn’t tell you how many and in regards to interests I have many and I’ve never started any. I come here, log in and do whatever takes my fancy. I don’t pay much attention to placings, ratings etc; your discussion got me thinking that perhaps I should...

I'm glad that my discussion yesterday about "Communication Saves a Relationship" gets into the MyLot Digest. I was really surprised with that because it's my first time to be included in the MyLot digest. It has 24 responses that time but now, it has reached to 27 responses. I'm really happy that MyLotters are really responding to my discussions. Congratulations to us!
