How to get a person to stop asking for a friend request.

I had one person tried a friend requeat around 10 times. I didn;t want the person to be on my friend list! They didn't get the hint after deleting them as many time as they tried a friend request! The best way to stop the person is leave them in limbo! So the last time this annoying person tried it I just left them setting there on my friend request list and has been there over a month! No way will this person be approved or denied! Limbo is were they are staying!

I have many just hanging there - like washing on the clothes line 
If you need any pegs I have loads to spare! 
Some of those requests can just get so annoying and the only way to deal with them is just to leave them there as you say and they won't be a problem any more!

You figured it out...........best thing to do is just leave them hanging in limbo.
They probably only wanted to get on your list to send you referral links, and no one needs that.

Simply ignore it. No, I do not mean for you to press the darned ignore button again. Just don't reject it, nor accept it. That way it'll keep as pending status for a lifetime if necessary and you don't get to be bothered so soon again, if ever again ;)

That is odd behavior. At first I thought that was happening in real life. Funny that someone would try to be friends ten times here.

Hello bluepacker, I thought you would have realised as you do a thorough profile check of all friends requests that this type of person does not actually want to be your friend at all, but are simply attempting to set themselves into your friends list in able to spam you at some unknown point in the future.
