In another discussion I posted about how I just lost my 17 year old cousin who took her own life at the end of August.
I had decided I really wanted to get a tattoo in honor of her, and because one of her favorite paintings is Van Gogh's "Sunflowers on Blue", her favorite color is yellow, and favorite flower is the sunflower, I got a sunflower with the words "Forever Young" in script below. It's beautiful, and my favorite tattoo thus far.
Have you any tattoos that are in remembrance of someone?

Yep, got one tiny little tattoo (right ankle) in memory of a dearly beloved who left us much too soon. Even after all these years, I look at it fondly and remember his smile and feel his love.
Oh how proud he would have been that I was so daring.... so brave.... and the one so very unlikely to ever get tattoo.

That's a beautiful work of art, I really like Van Gogh. It sounds very fitting as a remembrance of your cousin.
I don't have any tattoos and don't intend to get any. It's just not my thing. I have my memories in my heart, and that's enough for me. But I can see where you would want a tattoo and I think it's a beautiful thing for you to do.
