Who said this, was it Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, or some other right winger? If you said D!ck Gephardt about George H. W. Bush's "Just say no!" 91 drug campaign, you would be a winner. Sorry no prizes though.

It's funny, Obama supporters defended the speech by pointing out that other presidents have done the same thing... they forget that there was also controversy when other presidents did it.

Before Obama's televised speech to schoolchildren yesterday, he pitched universal healthcare to students at the school he later gave his speech from. Makes one wonder if the pitch OFF-camera was part of the original speech intended for ON-camera before people raised their voices of concern. http://cnsnews.com/news/article/53712

That sounds like dirty politics at its worst there.

No offence, AK, but I'm skeptical. I'll believe it when I hear it from a major news station such as MSNBC or CNN. I never even heard of Conservative News. Could be another WorldNetDaily for all I know. After all, if it was off camera, and it isn't there to see, we are only relying on second hand reports to tell what he said. And we all know how two people can hear the same speech and come away with totally different meanings. I would want more evidence of this.

Yes, let's wait until we hear from the people who didn't even report on Van Jones until AFTER he resigned. Let's wait to hear it from the "news" outlets who never covered anything about our troops turning all security operations in Iraq over to the Iraq Defense Force. Let's wait to hear it from the people who told us that the GENA 6 violence resulted from nooses hung from trees at a "whites only" tree. Let's wait to hear about it from the same people who refused to report about Obama's mentors in college until AFTER he was elected. Let's wait to hear it from the people who told us that Sarah Palin faked a pregnancy to cover up her daughter's pregnancy. Let's wait to hear it from the people who kept telling us that WMD was the only reason Prs. Bush ever gave for attacking Iraq. Let's wait until we hear it from the people who lied about Rush Limbaugh "doctor shopping" in Florida. Let's wait until we hear it from the people who told us that Rev. Wright's "GD America" speech was a one time thing, and Obama never knew how Wight felt about any of it. Let's wait to hear if from the people who didn't report that Mayor Nagin gave the "all clear" to the people in the shelters without ever doing an assessment of the disaster area (resulting in deaths of people who would have been safe in the shetlers. Let's wait to hear it from the same people who told us that Obama wasn't ever part of ACORN. Are those the people you want to wait to hear it from? '~D

It's not worth the effort to make a civil response to those who have already responded. It's just the usual "Get Obama" responses!
