Rain at last, a wet welcome!  | |  We are so happy to finally have rain in this drought that we are having here in So Texas. We have been in a drought for the pass 70 plus weeks. Our lawns have turned into hay and dirt. For two days now, we've gotten some good down pours with thunder and lightning. It's something we have been needing for a while, we are in a stage 3 drought restriction-meaning you can't water your lawn except on even and odd days according to your address. So I welcome the rain with gladness and I put out my buckets to catch some of the rain to use for watering my plants.

| | | | | | | | 1.  musicman6 (1805) | 4 months ago |  Yes, I know exactly how you feel, I'm up here in North Central Texas, and it has been dry, and we just sit and watch the weather where it rains everywhere else but here! Yesterday it has finally started to be under 90, and the evenings and mornings are breathable again, We got a couple of small showers also, which helps a little bit! Hopefully we will get some more rain, and the temp don't go up any more!
