I am looking for recipes that I can cook in it.
So if you have a slow cooker and have mastered the culinary skills for slow cooking or if you are a novice like me - post all your recipes and ideas for how I can make the best use of mine.

BBQ Pork or pulled pork.
Put about 2inches of water in the bottom of your crock pot. Put your boneless pork loin in. Sprinkle salt and pepper and let it cook on low for about 7 or 8 hours. The longer it cooks the softer the meat. I have left it in for over 10 hours too. The min I think would be about 6 hours.
When you are done then drain the liquid and use a fork to pull it all apart in the crock pot. Add your bbq sauce and let it cook on low or warm for another 30 minutes.
Serve on buns or just on a dish with a side of coleslaw and baked beans. YUM! My family goes gaga over this simple recipe.
Hope you enjoy it!

You can use any kind. My kids like the honey bbq and it does not matter what brand you use either. It all tastes so good. Let me know how you like it :)

Well, to go really easy, they actually sell crock pot meals in the store. I think Banquet makes them. All you do is throw the stuff in and turn it on basically. They have a few varieties. Our favorite is chicken and dumplings. I also love to make wings in ours. You just dump in a bag of frozen wings and some BBQ sauce and let it cook for 8 hrs or so. The longer you cook them the more soft the meat will get to the point it is falling off the bones. I've just found a recipe to make lasagna in your slow cooker but I haven't tried it yet. Try www.allrecipes.com they probably have tons of recipes just for slow cookers.
