Yes, there are other friends we worry about as well. It is alarming that we all have these warning bells going off about OT all at the same time. I know there are others that I miss. While Hatley was gone we worried a lot about her, and we are so glad she came back.

Found it. She was a bit vague, but stated August 1st as her deadline. This is September already. Wonder what's up?

Yes she was rather vague in that discussion, just as she was vague in her email to me...she didn't go into any details about what was going on---like great, that makes me worry all the more

I did a bit of snooping and came across another discussion of hers where she happily was sharing a video this new boyfriend made for her....when I clicked the link, guess what? It's no longer there--like what the heck does that mean???

pye do you suppose that was the same guy? maybe he was not such
a nice guy after all? now I am a little worried.I know she is
'smart but she was also hurting and lonely. why were both of
those things deleted? maybe we are worrying for nothing, but
it seems a bit strange.

Yes she's had a history of men making her life miserable--seems the problem is that she's kind of desperate for a man in her life and gets caught up with these abusive men over and over again.

hi moon and pye , well now I am glad in a way that that discussion by the male mylotter boyfriend got deleted as if he was up to no good, I wou ld have hated for him to have gotten my response. I would never want to encourage some bad guy that might hurt her.

I had a close friend that was like that. She thought she HAD to have a man in her life.
I told her that she should get her life together for herself and her daughter and forget about having a man. A man is most times nothing but a hinder to a women and her goals.
It's much better to live alone and care for your family. Make things work for you without a man. YOU DO NOT NEED A MAN. I told her this and she did not believe me until years later and her BF went to jail. She and Jessica were alone, she got 2 part-time jobs and learned that she did not NEED a man. SHe told me this and I told her I was so glad that she finally figured that out.
I lived without a man for years and years. I just worked and took care of my children. Nothing was important but my children to me.
Women are much stronger than they give themselves credit for.
They don't need a man. All they need to do is to get their life together.

Exactly, a fish does not need a bicycle, lol. I like that. I focused on my job, making money to support my 3 children and me. Everything I did involved work and or the children. With keeping the house clean, working, and caring for my children I had no time for a man. Once my youngest was in the ninth grade and my daughter was married. Then I got extremely sick. I almost dies. While in the hospital I realized how lonely I was or could be once my youngest left home too.
I decided to call a man that had wanted to date me for a year. I never got in touch with him. I called 3 or 4 times and no one was home(he had 2 room mates). So the next time I saw him I gave him my number.
He is my husband and has been now for 18 years come Nov.7th.

Hatley, I did not see the post from the boyfriend. Good thing I did not as he would not have liked what I had to say to him. Men like that are "little" men, they have no respect for women. They are bullies and only beat on someone that can't win in a fight. They should not be able to have a lady. They don't know how to treat one and don't deserve them.

I did a check every which way possible over at Facebook right now..first looking at my friends list there...nope. Then her name...nope then a search via her email..nope nada

I was sure she was a friend (at facebook), but I just looked all through my list and like you came up empty handed...

I don't like that...

hi fellow mylotters now i am really worried seeing that that odd discussion from the male mylotter pleading for her to come back and sounding love lorn was deleted. I had made a response but the '
discussion was deleted before my response got sent, now I am glad'as I would not want to encourage a man who might have been furious with her and might have hurt her some way.she had been on my friends list since we both joined mylot so I worry about her.

Now that I think of it, I think she WAS on my friends list over there...but maybe she deleted her account??????????

If you and pye can't find her in facebook, chances are she or a male aquaintance deleted her account there. After reading the responses, I'm just wondering if maybe her current male friend got ahold of her accounts and deleted them along with any emails from her friends before she sees them. Know what I'm saying? I hope this isn't what is happening to her cause then something bad is going to happen.

oh lori that was what that odd mylotter said,he was pleading with'her not to go to Massachusetts,and saying he loved her, he sounded very'strange,and I thought well maybe hes just really in love with'her. so I wrote a response,which i am glad now never went through,but the discussion had beendeleted when I posted my response. so maybe it was a good thing my response never got to him. after all I'had no way of knowing what kind of a person he really was.

lori I didnt get the name as when I went to send my response, the discussion had already for whatever reason been deleted. I was dumbfouonfed as he sounded moon struck but didnt seem to break any rule unless it was his rather odd way of pointing out it was tiara, and maybe that was enough. I wish now that they had not deleted it as it might give a clue. He said she would go to Massachusetts and he didnt w ant that,come back to me,something about oceans. that probably set off the mylot admins.She had been sending me messages pretty regularly then all of a sudden just stopped.

Pye has emailed me he links to these conversations.... i think they ae very odd also..no one answered 'pepper's' posts abut our Ocean Tiara....I just pray she is safe ...although I hae a bad feelng in the pit of my stomach about this 'guy pepper'..she never once mentioned him y nae to me in all the ltters we had written each oter.lori

I wonder if we're thinking about the same person as I knew a mylotter friend who had cancer as well and had a cat avatar

Yes I didn't like the fact that she gave that she had to make a decision by August 1st---I wish she had been more specific WHAT decision she had to make

One member here DOES have her phone number and gave a call...its an upstate NY phone number, but when the other member called, she said a man answered and said this missing mylotter went to Massachusetts...no forwarding address or new phone number was given
