| | Gosh! I know what you mean. I grew up watching it. My nieces and nephews grew up watching the show and now they have small ones who watch it. It seems like some of the core values have changed. I understand the changing times. But values should not. | | | | | | |

| | I hadn't really noticed that (because I haven't watched it in a while) but I did hear something that nearly made me cry. I don't think it panned out...I think viewers went ballistic but somewhere along the way I heard they were making Cookie Monster eat vegetables!!! Because a big blue furry Muppet is the whole reason American children are fat, she said sarcastically. Kids like cookies because cookies taste good not because Cookie Monster tells them to! | | | | | | |

| | ya, i heard that too. they havent changed him yet. i do have some books about cookie monster eating food and my son has to pick what cookie monster is talking about. on the show, he isnt on much. i think it is the parents responsibility to teach their children. its just another example that they dont want to be at fault. | | | |

| | Actually, now that you mention it, the last time I watched it it was like an hour and a half long I think and probably 45 minutes to an hour of that was all about Elmo. | | | |
