Do you use green household cleaners in your home?

For most cleaning jobs, I use a solution of 2 parts water to 1 part white vinegar with a few drops of tea tree oil. It works for everything from cleaning countertops and stovetops to dusting wood furniture and freshening up fabrics. Vinegar kills germs and mold naturally, and as it dries the smell dissipates. Tea tree oil is also a great disinfectant.
For cleaning windows, just use a spray bottle filled with straight vinegar.
For scrubbing jobs, such as cleaning the bathtub or sink, use plain old baking soda instead of bleach-ridden scouring powders like Comet.

A mixture of equal parts borax and baking soda make dishwasher detergent. Add vinegar instead of jet dry for your rinse aid. I also use borax in my laundry to use less detergent and my clothes look cleaner. Baking soda and hot vinegar make an excellent drain cleaner. Alcohol works great for windows, mirrors and faucets.

i hope you expound more about green cleaning aids. its the first time i encountered this. i use chemicals everytime when cleaning areas within my home (and aerosol which i know is not good to the environment). if this green cleaning aids would make me save more then i am sure i will try it.
