Ever taken communion at home?

Communion is considered sacred in most denominations. My family heritage is one which respected communion highly. There are many times when I have taken communion at my home alone, just me and God. My family has taken communion together at different times. I stayed with my aunt once and she takes communion each morning. I have joined her when I stayed with her. It is a very special thing to me and also to my family.
Have you ever taken communion outside the four walls of the church?

No, in my church we believe that Eucharist is the living body of Christ...because it can be only transformed when the priest consecrates it. Therefore, the Eucharist becomes sacred and should not be taken lightly - or taken home.

I would never take the sacraments lightly. I like to quietly sit and reflect on what our Saviour did for us. I appreciate being able to do so corporately, but I also enjoy the solitude where I can take my time and meditate on His body which was broken and His blood that He shed.

Yes, my brother you re exactly correct! There were no buildings they called the "church" they just were the church! Actually, when Jesus served the "last supper" he was in an upper room in a house having a meal also.
