I am not sure about that, but I do believe that they make a statement. Here is a bunch of bumper stickers quotes that I gathered from internet..Have fun!
Caution: I drive like you do!
I brake for scholars, priests, and no apparent reason.
I'm in no hurry; I'm on my way to work.
I just got a new car for my wife today. Best trade I ever made.
I may be slow but I'm ahead of you!
I'm not deaf...

I have on my car that my husband got for me it says, “The more people I meet the more I like my cats” He said he had to get it because it was a great description of me!
A friend of mine had one that says, “Divorce is better than murder.” Have to agree with that one!

Hi Mimpi!
I have also noticed that some people paste stickers either on the bumper or rear window of the car to a make a statement. The quotes you have mentioned makes an interesting read. I also keep noticing while driving my vehicle, some of the quotes I noticed are :-
(i) “Please be careful, while driving, baby is inside”
(ii) “Please do not follow me, I am driving the fastest car of the year”
(iii) ‘Bye and see you later”
Have a nice day!

And there is no dearth of slogans, which are found here in India on the back side of trucks. "Buri nazar waley terah muh kala" and "Jinda rahey to phir melengey". (If I translate it in English, first one would mean that 'those who have evil eyes will be doomed' and second one has hidden meaning.........LOL
! It means that "if you do not get crushed under wheels of my truck, I'll see you again.........LOL!

Never thought about the bumper sticker and aesthetic appeal, so never really put one on my car. But i have come across a few which have given me good laugh.
These are some others though i thought i'd share as well.
Even though this is a stupid sticker, you are squinting to read it.

I had a life but my job ate it
If you are close enough to read this you just violated your restraining order.[/i]

I keep threatening to put one on my car that says "I'm site seeing...get over it." I never will though.
The reason that phrase comes to mind is I have just moved up to the mountains and I am truly loving the scenery that unfolds as I drive around up here. Some parts you can see for miles. I think it would be a shame to just rush on by without taking a look.

That's true Mable. Its also not common here. My sister has DESI in her numberplate. You can choose your plates there! Here, its quite different.

i dont think so .... ti think the original loks of the car is the best for its looks....adding bumper sticker of any of the additions will amke it looke weird and artificial
and again the natural looke are always good for the car unless u have a custom made car by experts ...
