Do you eat breakfast every single day, only when you have time, occasionally, or never?
I am usually in a rush in the morning and must confess... I know how healthy eating breakfast is -- it breaks the fasting of the night before and kickstarts metabolism. It can also help you focus on the day ahead with the nutrients and nourishment.
However, most of the time I don't eat breakfast. It's not even a time factor thing for me. I stopped eating breakfast because I thought it was the easiest way to cut a significant amount of calories from my diet each week. However, I think maybe I will start eating a half bowl of cereal with soymilk in the morning just to get something in me.
How about you? How often do you eat breakfast? If you ever skip it, is there a good reason why (unlike me!)?

11. sender621 (853) | 4 months ago | I have had days when I didn't eat breakfast. When I have those days, I don't feel I have my energy all day. I tend to eat lunch sooner than normal because I skipped breakfast. There are people who only eat meals once a day. It can't be me!

By eating breakfast everyday, I was able to have more energy and control my hunger better. I still need my morning coffee, but it's now accompanied by 2 slices of whole wheat, or oatmeal, depending on my mood. I did skip yesterday, though because I woke up late and I didn't feel very well.

How are you today? Did you have breakfast today? I have. I've been having breakfast every single day. It is my most important meal of the day. I cant function if I've not taken my breakfast. I can skip my dinner but not breakfast. A hot cup of chocolate is good to kick start my day.:)

14. gitfiddleplayer (5547) | 4 months ago | I have to or I'll crash, my days start at different times and I have to make sure my kids eat so I'll fix theirs and then fix mine, habit of course. If I don't eat they won't eat and then they are off their schedule and when people get hungry they get grumpy and I don't do grumpy.

But after I started eating breakfast, even if it was a small bowl of cereal, I realized I ate less during the rest of the day than before I started eating breakfast.. Starting off the day with food in my stomach kept me from snacking, and I was able to eat a later lunch. I try to eat my lightest meal at dinner since I won't be as active, and therefore should have less calories.

17. metschica25 (4788) | 4 months ago | Hey! Back in the day mostly High School I would skip breakfast . I wanted to sleep in and also not have to stop to eat . Was always trying to look my best LOL. Sometimes, I wouldnt even eat lunch ... Which was dumb and prob why I put on weight and messed up my matabolism . Now I have to eat in the mornings or I will feel all moody .

19. Metalchick (1028) | 4 months ago | I never normally feel that hungry in the morning especially if i've got a big day ahead. However I do know it is very important to make sure I have breakfast so I do try and struggle down a yoghurt or something.
By mid morning my stomachs normally rumbling like crazy so try to fend off the hunger pangs by eating a few nuts here and there as a snack before lunch.
A couple of years ago I used to always eat crumpets saturated in butter every morning....a very unhealthy but tasty breakfast which I decided I couldn't continue with especially as I had decided to take up running and wanted to get fitter. Nowadays I make myself eat something only if it's small but it does give you that little bit more energy.
