Do you consider this "working"?

For me, i would consider as both. More on the leisure and less on the work/money portion. I use mylot more to communicate and also to find out for other people's views and opinions and sometimes their actual past experiences about certain product or services. It's a great place to know people and to also gather information form others feedback.

I see Mylot and some of my other websites as a way to just pass time and have fun. And for my PTC websites and survey websites I see that as not work because I usually do those in the morning before I do stuff and only takes maybe 1 or 2 hours at the most. The only way I see those being work for people if they have been with them for years and spend most of their day doing them. I mean people who are really interested in these websites usually spend a lot of time advertising their referrals to get more money and that is pretty much a job being sorta like a salesman but using the internet. The only real work I do on the internet is probably blogging because it usually takes a little more time to update my blogs with creative and original content.

Nope. I wouldn't be here if I thought this was "work" because, to put it simply, it doesn't pay enough to merit my time. On the other hand, I consider my online freelance writing as work. The best thing about MyLot for me is that I can have fun and earn a buck or two whilst doing so. The day that MyLot stops being enjoyable is the day I leave.:?

I do not think I will consider doing myLot as work, as in merely making posts only for the money, nor as fun or play (for that, I would prefer the other site you mentioned). I am here mostly to learn about many things. There are many interests and discussions here in myLot in which we are able to know many new things.

For instance, we can learn about how people think by they respond to various discussions (there are many users in myLot from many countries, I am assuming that people behave and think somewhat based on their countries, cultures, etc). We can also get new news about what is happening in the world (I admit, I am too lazy to read newspapers and such -.-).

And if we really want to focus on the money side, we can find lots of other online (or even offline, maybe) money making opportunities here in myLot (lots of people are talking about them, new opportunities or even the old ones every day).

I don't consider this as working at all, in fact just something extra on the side. It's definitely a great opportunity to have discovered mylot and I will always love this site. The tasks are quite cool too and so far, I've not yet done any, but perhaps I would someday.

thanks for sharing this discussion. for me i dont really consider this as working which i also plan to find a real job very soon.. mylot & other earning site are only the same with u as an entertainment like a hobby which i enjoy doing those stuff everyday, they are already part of my daily routine to visit them every now & then... thanks again... have a nice day and happy mylotting..^_^

well it cant be considered as a work but tah the same time if they are really rewarding we could consider this as work also
btu vern now the situations is like we join a lot of sites and most of them still turn out to be bogus or scam and they dont pay ... so in such a situation we cannot take it as a work for our living ... but at the same time it is a very good medium to kill time ...

Sometime it's work and at other times it's play.

But most of the time I think it's work. But not in the sense that I would depend on mylot for my expenses.

I mean, I am looking at mylot as a way to make money more than to have fun. Usually I am focusing on improving my earnings here in the least time spent.

Hi maezee. No, I don't consider this work. I may not always consider it fun, but it is definitely not work to me! LOL However, some of the others are needing to make money just about anyway they can. So long as they are doing it legitimately I say more power to them.
