How do you take care of your curly hair?How do you style it?

I have semi curly hair and I do not like them very much...I like straigh hair.
Though I do take care of my hair very well...I eat healthy and drink more than 2 litres of water daily...On day s of parties or functions I getr my hair straightened with a hair straightner. I do not use gets nowadays as it doest help for more than 3-4 hours...I have very small curls in the front and i use a black narrow ahir band to keep them away from my face.

I would say that if your hair was really really curly, to use straighteners. But this might not be something you want to do for it could damage your hair. My hair has a mid curl, and normally I just leave my hair alone and go for a natural look. I have used wax and gel many times in my life, and although they are ok, they're very hard to style if you dont use a straightener.

I just let it loose. I make sure my hair is dry before going out and I don't put creams or gels on them. I also use shampoos that I know are right for my hair.

To be honest, i used to hate my curly hair - and it is very curly. I have a CHI iron that I use to straighten it a lot. However, I have become used to going curly at times and have found the Aussie Mouse is the best for my hair. It lets the curls come naturally but keeps the frizz away. The best part? My hair doesn't feel crunchy or slimy. It looks and feels like its completely natural. Best product on the market to me.

In my opinion, curly hair is just about the hardest to care for. I have very fine curly hair, so gels tend to way it down really easily. Right now I'm using Garnier Fruitis's Wonder Waves Spray, or Aveda's 'be curly' curl control.

The great thing about Aveda's product is that it's designed to be used on dry hair. I have a bad habit of waiting too long to put in product while I'm letting my hair air dry. With Aveda's product, that's not a problem. The downside is that if I'm in a rush and need to leave with my hair a bit damp, it won't work as well.

However, the Wonder Wave spray can be used in dry or wet hair. I find it works best in semi-dry hair. It's great because it's a liquid, not a gel or a cream. I've also been using the shampoo and conditioner, and have been mostly pleased with it.

A third option is Frizz Ease's spray gel. It's not as thick as a regular gel, and can be sprayed directly into hair. I found that I liked it best when I sprayed it on my hands first, and then scrunched it into my hair. You may ask what's the purpose to using a spray gel if I'm just going to put it in my hands. However, you still get a much thinner layer of gel in your hands, so you don't end up with stiff clumps in your hair.

It's also a good idea to keep a bottle of clarifying shampoo on hand. It's cheap, and useful. I like to use mine once every couple of weeks, just to get out any residue. None of the products I've mentioned leave noticeable build-up, but if you're using gel or other products on a daily basis, there's going to be some residue over time. Hence, the clarifying shampoo.

i used to wear very short hair since i was younger till three years ago. i did it because it is easy to manage a short hair and a lot of my friends said that it really looks tidy and neat.

three years ago, i changed hairstyle and had my hair grown. i thought i could not manage my fine curly hair. while still damp, i put hair polish into my hair and scrunch it till i like how the curls go. it really looks nice when it becomes dry. i get the curls and it looks fresh too because of the hair polish. it gives that fresh-from-the-bathroom effect ... i like the wet look rather than my original frizzy hair when allowed to air dry (that is why i make it a point to do my hair while still damp.)
