Does love really matter in the modern world  |

 Everybody is very practical these days, honestly i feel love is directly proportional to success.All these love,trust,etc sounds good in the virtual world but when it comes to real life no one will accept someone with no achievement in life. I really don't think love matters anymore in this modern and practical world

No one wants money to be the basis of the relationship (there are some exceptions), right?! Imagine the world revolving because of money, there would be graft, corruptions, numerous crimes, etc.=)

The only reason someone's success in life would come between love is if they did NOTHING at all. In which case, their partner, despite the love they would feel, would eventually get fed up doing all the work. That is because relationships are meant for two people to be responsible for it and not just for one person to carry the weight of the other.
There is plenty of real love out there but it takes work to sustain it. I've been with my boyfriend for four years now and while I am the one supporting him, I eventually want to be a stay at home Mom and he knows that. So I am helping to support him through school so that way in the future we can swap roles. True, if he had no plan in life, I would probably end up leaving him.
But it would be because I would need to be supported in order to do what I want out of life and if I just 'loved' him despite that, I would be doing everything in the relationship, work, and family life.
But love is out there. Not everyone bases it off how much money one person has, versus another.

Nothing in life is full proof but at least we can try to fight it together but that doesn't seem to matter much these days, I tried hard to convince and put some logic in her head but all that really matters to her seems to be success. | |
