I am almost done with SQUIDOO - they locked my top making money on

All of my sites are on Squidoo, great sites I have invested a ton of time into creating. I am upset too but for now, I have to spend my time rebuilding my site. I just cant believe this happened

You said it, worked very hard. I had 19 lenses down to 15 but that lens was my top traffic lens. I will have to consider that idea soon. For now, will stick with the freebies.

We have a friend who no longer posts here who has a brillinat updated lens about scam sites. Will that have to go too?

It depends on her content and links. They first told me I broke the 9 links to the same site rule but I pointed out to them I only had 3 links. Then they said I must have violated a rule but they didnt explain what rule. Just gave me a link. The only thing I can think of is my lens does generate a lot of spam. The lens about scam sites might come close to this rule. They allow have a rule about junk sites.

i think i agree with taztheone, blogging with a right technique is more lucarative than squidoo. plus we can get income from adsense directly if we us blog.

i dont know what happened to me, when i write a lens this lens will appear in google first page but after around two weeks the lens is gone, sometime it is de-index by google. do you know why?

Locked means I cant make any changes. I dont know when and if they will delete it. Yes it was my ptc site but I had more "lessons for ptc" than ads. My other lenses are ok for now but who really knows. I dont have many ptc sites left either thats why I was shocked they blocked my lens. I wont totally give up on ptc. Like you, my small money goes to taking my hubby out to dinner and movies. He just loves it, being treated by a woman.

It got locked Saturday and that was after the review. I even explained to them that I had one module giving details about a traffic bar and thats when I got the alert so I deleted that module. I told them there was more content on my lens and it generated a ton of traffic for 1+ year so why now? I believe it got flagged on a false positive thats why I got the review. I still have one good lens on there so not totally giving up yet. Im just shocked because that was my top lens. Thanks for the kind words.

I sorry about that. Like you and even though I have giant and mentor status, I am still a lensmaster like you.

It is their site though. I know it sucks. Have I been in that situation no, but I would be upset if that ever happened to me. I have just been lucky. If I know someone has written a lens that may hit the filter, I will try to let them know as I always try to stay safe side of things. I did that recently to another giant as they had something about losing weight and let her know that even though she is a giant, it could still end up getting locked because weight loss has been recently been added to the list. It was a small section of a lens, but still its best to err on the side of caution if you can.

Look under the section called affilates. They added that around July. PTC may come under the category of affiliates. I had one lens that had information about affiliate programs. I wanted to be safe so I ended up moving my lens on all of that information to my blog. I have a section called making money online. I was not going to take a chance at it getting locked.

I took a quick look at your lensmaster account. I know you didn't ask for my opinion, but I am still going to give it to you. I would pull off those all caps on your titles and module titles. If would look better if you capitalized at least the first letter of the word.

You do have some good stuff in there like about this site mylot. If there are some really great post that you like here on my lot, you can write a new lens for each category and then link to that thread. If you hit the 9 outgoing link, create a second lens to pick up where you left off and so on. You can get traffic that way back and forth between your blog and your lens. There is a featured lens module to link to the next lens. If you need any help with anything, I am more than happy to help you. If you are stuck on ideas for lenses, I may come up with some general ideas that you can work with.

I think part of the reason they changed, they had to. There are some areas that are getting out of hand.
