Have you got any idea about "Organic Food"?

Where I reside in Minnesota, USA it is still very limited. We have a few good stores but the prices are outrageious for Organic foods. We try to buy what we can, but it's not always an option simply because of price. Personally, I think our government should make it illegal to have anything but and force companies to start making healthier products. High Fructose Corn Syrup is one of the ingredients used in almost everything in this country, and we know it causes health problems yet there it is in foods marked "healthy". It's very sad indeed.

Hi,Anora,I am happy to see your response.Yes,as you quote they are some what costly,because cultivation of crops without using fertilizers,chemical pesticides.So naturally yield will reduce and hence the produce rate will be higher.So hope in future,the rates of organic food may reduce to purchase the people like us.As i am a postgraduate in Agriculture and now i am a consultant adviser to farmers of my area and i used give suggestions to farmers how to grow organic food.Have a nice time.

Wow! Very nice accomplishment dear friend. Any tips you have for doing this ourself is appreciated. I hope too that cost will come down if they would just have everyone grow organically here in the states. Namaste-Anora

Hi,if the food we get from growing crops without chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides which hazardous to our health.That's why people going to start giving emphasis on organic food.Cost wise some what high because the cost of production more than normal crops.Happy mylotting
