Do you think that you can work more better if you work withaut a boss who all day to say to you...you must to do this, and this, must be here 8 hours, and all time push you to make things work good...or you can work much better if you make your job without a boss and all decisions in your work are yours,..you can assume all responabilities, you are more free in what you like to do.. So, with or without boss?

I absolutely can not work under someone. I can work with someone as equals, but I can not work under someone. My husband is tired of working under people, and has done it long enough. We work together, and for ourselves. Our job is to promote and publish our writing.

I think if you have a goal that you follow, you don't need a boss. A boss should only take care of the people that work and force them to work instead of doing other things but if you enjoy the job and got a goal, that is not needed at all.

Hi, Ice! We teachers have a tendency to work around our bosses. Administration can say what they want to say or demand what they want to demand, but we shut the door and do what we know is best with the students that fill the room. Their needs are our real bosses.

Hard to say that because although I worked under someone for 2 years before but to be honest, there are not too much pressure on me because there is a boss.they don't really care about how your worked daily, just finish your work and that's all.no matter how you arrange your daily work.

I work best without my boss around!! When she is around, she will demand 100% attention from us, and make our daily routine interrupted just to 'entertain' her. Only after she left the office, we got a chance to really do our work which is outstanding. further, with some clients who are impatient, we will be really tied up with my boss is around the office. I would prefer she is not around, and leave us the work she needed to be done and let us have the time to complete everything and pass to her again. Especially sometimes, when there is some Authorities correspondences, she may want us to attend to it immediately, which is sometimes we got to drop everything we doing, and just to concentrate on it. By the time we got back to where we stop, it will be just don't know how to start again.

I have worked both with and without a boss and I feel working on your own is much more fulfilling. I am a Chartered Accountant and have been working as the boss of a Firm for the last 16 years and I think the independence of being able to work on you own is unparalleled and I would never like to be employed by someone else. To be able to take you own decisions gives you the confidence to face challenges all the way. It has both responsibilities and difficulties but at the end of the day you know whatever you have achieved is due to your own efforts and nobody is trying to pass of your work as their own to earn kudos with their boss.
