A new article about David McCallum

I posted a different article on his birthday, and I'm also 55, and been a fan since UNCLE...

I'm one of the rare few who became a fan of his before "Illya the K!" I first caught him in "Robbery Under Arms," that "Western" film about Australia's cowboy period. I saw him, & went, "My, my MY...what do we have here...?!

And the rest is...well, you know the rest of that cliche.

Oh, that sounds like a great movie! I just looked it up, it was 1957 and I think Mr. McCallum would have been great then.

I actually prefer his looks as he is now, as I prefer Sean Connery in his older days. They age so beautifully, don't you think? A little paunch here, a lot of wisdom there, and the cloak of experience to make the whole package very intriguing and attractive!

Yes, he's never had an awkward stage, & I know this because Ellen's incredible DMcC site has pictures of him from babyhood on up! He only improves with age, just like that other famous Scotsman, Sean Connery.

Both of them dress up anything they're in. Even when skinny David was in RUA, he looked drool-worthy.

Maggie, I'm sorry! I didn't bookmark it. It was an article from 1966 detailing his childhood, abrupt elopement with Jill Ireland and such. I remember Jill Ireland, she was so pretty! I thought they made such a beautiful couple!

all I can say is that Charles Bronson must had something special... cause it sure wasn't his looks

I don't think my mom didn't know I had a big crush on him, he was pretty much the focus of interest for me for years

I just had something very interesting happen, I decided to see what the blue underlined hyperlinks showed me and it had "mom" and "focus" underlined, and after I tried to get it to link on focus the link went away!

Now? Nothing, naturally, but then, one needn't do or say anything; their own bodies will tell them he's sexy & gorgeous when they get a bit longer in the tooth...

shame Invisible Man isn't out on DVD - and that I can't afford UNCLE - heck, I haven't even been able to afford the 6th season of NCIS. I've never seen Sapphire and Steel either, tho that one is pretty dog gone strange - even for ME!

and he still makes my heart go pitty pat...
