What will you do if someone borrow your money but forget to pay back?

they do not forget trust me.
if it was me I would ask for the money.

I was working too,and one of my "friends" told me that he has a lot of problems, that his wife doesn`t have any money for her and for their child that were at 1900 km far away . We were at the begining of working and we didn`t had too much money . So, i`ve gave it all my money 80 euros to send thouse to his wife . And what he did? He sent just 50 euros, other 30 euros he kept all for him . He was drinking beer every night, smoking expensive cigarettes and so on . He didn`t gave me that money not until now. He leaved so fast .. i was at work . But i`m not mad, because i`ve gave thouse for a reason, if he lied and so on, it`s his mistake . I did my job, and i helped a man when he need it . From that moment God will judge him

well maybe you should talk to them and ask for the payment..
maybe they really forgets it and you should ask for it..

Remind them for the debt they owe. Remember, never hessitate to ask them for what they have borrowed and never feel shy to ask them. Besides, they are oblige to pay.
Once you borrow, you need to really return what you owe.
You should not be awkward cuz in the first place they are the ones who borrowed money. Not you.
if i were you, i would go and ask for my money back.

I have been in this situation before where we went for lunch and then my friend did not had exchange with her and she told me if I can give her and then when we will return back to the office she will give me so I gave her the money and then when we reached the office she forgot me, I thought maybe later she will give me but then even after some hours we were talking she did not mentioned about the money at all, I did not had money to pay the bus fare so I told her to do not forget the money and she said yes and she will fetch it for me then she again did not gave me and behave as if nothing was important. I reminded her some four times that day then I could not take it and went directly to her desk and ask her my money, she said "Oh I will give it to you in a few minutes" I said no I will wait here only because I finished my work so she got no excuses and gave me the money. From that day I never give her money at all, though there are some other friends who return me when they take it from me. It is very awkward to ask every time and I had no other choices.

Hi there, if somebody forgets to pay my money back i make him remember about the dues he have with me. Also i don't lend money to strangers only my friends are the people with whom i give and take money with.

Hi there, yeah i oftentimes encountered that situation.. If i am you, i will ask him to pay me back. Then if he said that he only forgot that to pay. I will forgive him. BecAuse it is a minor cause. Keep mylotting.

It does happen with me too. Even I lend money to friends and it becomes really difficult for me to ask for it. If its a small amount, I stop thinking about getting it back (and it feels so good when the borrower returns the money I had lost hope of getting back). If the person comes back tome for money again, I do remind him about the amount he already owns.
For bigger amount, I somehow manage to ask for it. Like after a significant time, I ask the borrowing person in a twisted manner that I need money for getting somethiong done (some important work etc)

Too many times i have encountered this probelm. If it is a meagre amount, then I would not ask them to give back since sometimes we need to undergo these kind of situations. But if it is an amount equivalent to that of a day's earning, then I would definitely not hestitate in asking the person who borrowed from me to give my money back. Some people would have really forgotten and if we remind them, they would promplty pay back. But there are certain other people, who purposely forgets to pay back and if at all you dont remind them, they would never care to repay your amount. It happens to me sometime, but I never let it go. Of course, I'll wait for a period first. After a while, I could pretend that I also need money for an urgent case, then I'd borrow my debtor the same amount that I lent him. That will remind the debt.
