two races back to back

I signed up for a 5K for this coming Saturday. Then I found out someone would sponsor me to do run the 5K Race for the Cure. Now i am signed up for both. I am new to running.. any advice for training?

how many miles are you running a week?
Are these races both the same day, or are they 2 days in a row, or 2 weeks in a row.
If it's 2 weeks in a row I see no problem with that, 2 days in a row I'd run one for a PR then the second I'd take it easy; If they are both the same day I wouldn't do them both unless I was able to run 6 miles at a time and use it as a long run.
