Do you check your food?

Oh yeah, I definitely check my order before I leave the drive through. I got too many messed up orders in the past. Yes I have gotten a totally wrong order too. Very frustrating especially when you're starving.

I didn't use to check all the time, but now I do it as a matter of course. After having so many times where the order wasn't right I decided it was best to just check real quick before leaving the line. The times I have been shorted on my order the item was on the receipt, and charged for, but the item itself was missing. I've had shorted orders as well as an order that didn't have one thing in it that I ordered (I think it was from the car ahead of me that got tired of waiting.) On the plus side: once I even got 5 burgers and an order of large fries when I only ordered 3 burgers and a small fries lol. I know they're busy and always training somebody new, but it still never hurts to check just to make sure it's correct. If it's wrong, I tell them with a smile on my face and not like I'm an upset irate customer or something.

Oh yea..I check..I worked fast food for 8 yrs..yea...I check. LOL!

The last time that happened to me... i was so upset that i called the store to complain and give them a piece of my mind... they gave me the right order... but the side other stuff that goes with the food were not there... the stuff that makes the food taste really great... after that... i wound never leave the store without checking first if i have everything that i wanted...

If it's more than just one or two things, I make sure that we have the right number of items and that they appear to be the correct ones. I don't open them up and look inside and make sure everything's right though.

One of the great things about no longer having young children is never having to go to a fast food restaurant again. I sit in a restaurant and if the order is wrong then I send it back. Now if you've been given some salty tastelessness in a plastic or cardboard box thrust at you through a window, the car behind anxious to take your place, then how do you ever tell?

Hi Bethany. I usually try to take a quick peek to make sure that everything is there. There have been a few times that I left, without looking. Ironically enough these are the times that something is missing or the order is completely wrong.

One of my favorites has got to be the time that I went to KFC. I went through the drive thu with one of my kids and ordered a #1 original, a couple of pieces of corn on the cob, and an ice cream. As I go to this particular KFC on a regular basis and order pretty much the same thing each time I didn't bother to look if my order was right, though I did wonder why it was boxed like it was. As I was driving elsewhere a strange smell took over the truck. I decided I better take a look when I got to a stoplight (maybe 5 miles later). That was when I found out that the order was wrong. Instead of original chicken it was the new grilled stuff (yuck, so, that's what the smell was). They also gave me a chicken pot pie and forgot the corn.

After I got home I drove back up to KFC (I went inside this time) and told one of the employees there what had happened. I didn't have to explain though. They knew of their mistake as soon as I had driven away the first time around. I gave them the wrong order and they exchanged it for the right one (minus the drink and ice cream). The girl was so cool about it that I couldn't be mad.

Yep, it's always a good idea to check. That way we don't have to worry if the order is wrong.

Hi, this is very important to chech our food. because when you take homely food it is not fully ok but some times it will be ok for all. because in our home they prepared food some neatly but when you want to take outer food then it will not ok for you because it is not prepared neatly. so when you prefer outer food then you must check wheather it is better or not better for you then only you can check and take your food. this mannar is good for your health and me to.........

Yes, I do. We usually just go to McDonalds and before leaving I look inside the bag to check if everything is in there. Once or twice when it did not have everything, I waited patiently and the crew smiled patiently also, waiting for me to drive away We were like that for about a minute until she realized that I must have been waiting for something.

Sometimes when I am in a hurry going to my office. I always preferred to drive-thru to a restaurant and I forgot to check what I have ordered. Sometimes I get frustrated when I saw it that it is not the food I have ordered which I expected to eat for my breakfast.
