one of my teachers told me that many foreign friends take aspirin more frequently than chinese people. Some people think aspirin as a kind of diet supplement. is this really occuring around you?

I never have heard that aspirin is a diet supplement. I do know however that we take aspirin to help with the heart. What it does is serves like a blood thinner which helps the blood flow thru the heart better. The doctors will have heart patients to take one a day. Good discussion...Have a great day.

I only take aspirin when I have a headache, which is about two times a week. It works well as a pain and fever reducer. I don't really like digesting pills as diet supplements, as it seems to defeat the purpose of a healthy lifestyle.

I think aspirin is more like a pain reliever and not as a diet supplement. Mostly taken by people who has frequent headaches. Not a very good idea though to take it everyday as our body may develop other problems like kidney and liver problems.
