What about having a belated birthday party for her? Like I always say, better late than never. I know it wouldn't be the same not having it on her day but this would make up for it at least. This happened to my sister last week.. When typhoon Ondoy struck, it was also my mom's birthday.. and my younger sister was not able to go home and celebrate with us.. what she did is just called her and greeted her.. I think the best gift you can give your mom is just by being safe.. I know that's what my mom wanted for us last week. just be safe, it doesn't matter if we celebrate or not.
