What Teacher would you want to go back and see?

A recent discussion I responded to made me think of this one! I appreciate the idea for the discussion!. The discussion I was just referring to got me to thinking about this question : What teacher would you want to go back and see? It could be from any grade level, or it could not even be your teacher! Do you have children, sibilings, nieces or nephews who have a teacher that's left an impression on you? Or were they just attractive in your opinion? Did they just crack funny jokes? or were they so serious you just wanted to see if they were more humorous now? What would you say to them? Why would you say it? Would you hug them, perhaps kiss them on the cheek! I can't think of a teacher I would want to go back and see off hand. I guess there are a few teacher's I've liked for whatever reason, then there's some I didn't like, but would want to apologize for my behavior, or my lack of devotion to study, or well I don't know what I'd say. I guess it would depend on the teacher. Would you buy them a present, or take them out for lunch?

This is another great discussion on your part baby, and I am sure that everyone has a teacher they want to go back and see, when it comes to me I am not sure which teacher left the most impression on me,I know I have had a lot of teachers I have liked in the fast and I guess the first one that comes to mind is Colonel Hales from JROTC because he was a nice guy,and he would help you, even though his mind was still stuck in the military and he took JROTC a little too seriously, but it would be nice to go back and see what he is doing since I do not know if he is even still teaching, and we do not have kids or anyone else who has a teacher that has made an impression on me,but I am sure we will have teachers like that in the future,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I couldn't really put a finger on any teacher I liked either, I don't know that I even put anything up there in the discussion, but I know now that I can't think of anyone who had a really good impression on me. So I guess if there is a teacher listed in the discussion, they didn't make too much of an impression, unless it's the computer teacher that several people in my family had. I know you saw Colonel the other day, lol. I love you.

That is cool that you can not think of a teacher either, and I noticed you did not put one in the discussion, and yeah I told you I saw Colonel Hales the other day,and he seemed to be in a hurry,he was in and out or Wal Mart in like ten minutes and then he was gone, and I swear he was walking fast as well,so maybe he had some where important to be other then shopping at Wal Mart, and sometimes when I am working I think the same thing lol,I love you with all of my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting Baby.

It's good to go back and see the teacher's you haven't seen in a long time, and see how they are doing. Talk to them about things they taught and just thank them for teaching you those things. I appreciate the response, have a wonderful day.

my maths teacher as she was very strict and used to give a whole lot of beatings and scoldings but was very concerned about me. She lay an eye on me evrytime and i like her too. she was personally dealing with me to make me a better student in life.

It's always good to have one teacher in life that was strict on you and yet cared. Maybe you'll see her on the street one day, wave hello and go talk to her for a few minutes? Have a wonderful day!

I cant say really I'd go back and see any because with my mom still working at the school and me living in the area - its a small town - most of the teachers that i had as a kid are all still teaching and active members of the community so i see them quite often as it is.

My first grade teacher would be the one I'd go back and see. I just loved her. I would take her to lunch if she would go. I actually did go back and see her when I was about 18. She recognized me right away..lol. I didn't think she would.

My family and I would be in the grocery store when I was younger, and even though the teacher I saw was only like my old teacher by a year, then two, then three... I'd be amazed that she knew who I was! lol! I think I saw that same teacher when I was middle school, and then I was really amazed as I believe the one I'm thinking of was my 3rd or 4th grade teacher! lol!

I would like to go and see all my teachers because all of them did teach me something or the other to be remembered for this life time. I was the most favourite student of all of them as I used to help other students with their studies. Time factor is the real villain otherwise I would have seen all of them. I had a chance meeting with a couple of them and it was like a movie scene. It was too funny to be forgotten in this life time. One of them spent his last days at my place and I was lucky to be at his side in his time of need. If ever I get a life again I would like to be their student again. They were all very good human beings. I really wish to find all of them in near future.

You sound like the ideal student. The one who helps all the others, and of course a kind person as well! I hope you can find all the other teachers you had, and talk to them again! Have a wonderful day!

I think I'd want to see my kindergarten teacher. She was so kind hearted and nice. Of course, a lot of my teachers were pretty nice, but she was the best one of all! It's funny, I've had dreams of going back to that school and seeing her at least a handful of times, if not more. Yet, I don't recall ever dreaming about my other teachers from that school, or any other school for that matter. Go figure! And she always looks the same. LOL I know it's just a dream and that isn't possible as it was almost 30 years ago LOL, but she must have left more of an impression than I realized. Why else would I dream about her? I don't know what I would say if I were to see her for real. Other than maybe tell her who I am and thank her for being my teacher. Happy mylotting!

Sometimes all you can say is Thanks. I haven't seen one of my teachers since a little after I graduated. Of course I moved so that's possibly why, but even so I do go back to visit family, but never see the teachers in the stores. Oh well.

There are two teachers that I especially remember. One of them was my French teacher from high school. She was always very happy and lively. She was so positive, and she always seemed to be in a good mood. When I saw her I also became in a good mood simply by being around her. She loved French and she wanted us to love it as well, she simply couldn't hide her enthusiam. The other teacher that I would like to meet again is my English teacher. I have never met a person who was more kind than her. The students told her about their personal problems and she was always ready to help and to listen.
