Are the stairs out to get me?

For the past two or three weeks the third stair up seems to have gone out of its way to trip me up on the way upstairs. Do you think I've upset it in some way?
A few weeks ago the door handles were out to get me.
Do you sometimes feel that your house has got it in for you?

Sometimes yes I feel I am living in that Amityville house! I swear this house is an omen, probably because I thought I had escaped back in 1998 but now it's pulled me back and I can't escape! I actually feel trapped, but that's more to do with the comfort zone that I can't break out of and the vicious circle I seem to be trapped in! Well in my house I was stung by a wasp and I had to be rushed in to surgery! I then had wasps nest in my room and I was alone when they all came in. I have had a water leak which has come into my room too! All the bugs seem to love my room as well. I have had all sorts of creatures into my bedroom, nasty! And it's always me that finds the creaky floorboard again in my room! Some think a house is just bricks and mortar, mine is poltergeists and demons LOL! I try not to make it personal!

Maybe your subconcious mind is conjuring up these things. Do you think you have magic powers? am I watching too much Merlin?

I think maybe if you be nice to the Stair and maybe avoid it a few Days it might start being nice to you again lol
My Daughter always used to have fights with Stairs lol she always fell up them I was the one who would fall down them lol

Hi Gabs! Hope you are feeling better. It's a stand in joke in my household that we say we should get a stair lift fitted! But it would be my luck for it to get stuck in the middle PMSL! And with dad's weight he'd probably break the thing. I wonder if our cat would use it bless her she is getting old and finding the stairs difficult!

It's not just your house, my house keeps doing that to me too, only it's the third step up that's the problem.
My door's also caught my arm several times and I regularly trip up over the mats and the carpet and I've tripped over the sofa several times too.
