Whats your general reason for joining face book?

I signed up on face book for different reasons. The first was that my cousin-inlaw was talking about farming and I thought that be nice. So I joined to start a farm. It is fun and of course addictive. I then decided to promote a site that I was working on. It helped some but not that much. Well not what I thought it would do. I still go on there and farm and do some chatting with some friends that I made. Good discussion and have a great eevening...Keep smiling...

I joined facebook simply because all my classmates and friends are active on it. I just want to be on the go with everyone. They said it has cute applications and i also find it cool so i continued to use facebook till now.

At first I joined facebook because my online buddy asked me to play some games with him. That time my old school and college friends haven't even signed up yet, so I only had 3 friends there, 2 e-buddies, and the other is my husband lol. Now my friends are on the list, and I use facebook to keep in touch with them.

I am miles away from home and Facebook is a great help to get connected with my family and my friends. I can see what they are doing, what keeps them busy, and see them through pictures. The site is really a great help especially when I miss them.

You could also do "socializing and fun" while being connected with your family and friends. Facebook is flexible enough, in my opinion. And not everybody wants to open their account to somebody they don't know. It's kind of scary especially with every possible methods to scam or victimize people using the Internet.

I like joining social website.. It's a good way to socialize and find your old friends too.. I joined Facebook 2 years ago, because everybody moved from Friendster to Facebook at that time.. I love the layout,the games and the applications...

I found more of my old friends and my cousins here..:D

I enjoy uploading photos, and commenting on my photos and my friends' photos..

The reason I joined facebook is mainly to keep in touch with old friends, acquaintances, and family members. It's like having a reunion without having to meet up. LOL And best of all, it is free!

I joined Facebook because a few friends were asking me to . . . I didn't want to for the longest time .. . but now that I'm there, I'm so addicted to it!

So first I did it to connect with the friends I already had as it became easier to communicate with them on Facebook. Then it got interesting as old friends found me . . . and then I found other people from the past as well. I like using Facebook as a search tool . . . it's been neat to reconnect with people/friends I've met in life and to see where they are now with their lives. It doesn't mean that we have to be buddy-buddies again - it's just nice to say hello. And the more people you know, the better the network you can have!

I think Facebook is already flexible - it's what you make of it. What you focus on there is your choice. I like to socialize and have fun with people I know or have known in real life. My choice is to not meet new people there - for my safety and privacy. That's just me.

I joined facebook because almost all my friends are active in it. I got so many friend invitations in my mail everyday, I got fed up and joined . I also joined because facebook is one way of communicating with my girlfriend in Singapore. Happy mylotting:)

well, for me, it's quite a funny story. .
I first made facebook because my brother own one, and I don't, I'm quite jealous, so I made one and then stuck, don't know what to do, LoL
well, after about more than half a year, my friends were talking about it, I feel "waw, I'm water-backed." so now my motive, rather than being jealous of my brother, I'm searching for my friends and to communicate of course, especially the chat can saves up sms or telephone money for my girlfriend, LoL

I have only been a facebook member for the past few months. I originally joined the site to see if i could get reacquainted with some old friends from high school. I have found a few of them and we keep in touch. I have also made some new friends. it has been rewarding.
