Responded tab: which do you find is more annoying?

To me it is more annoying when people start a discussion and do not bother to respond to the comments and if they do not want to respond to all the comments I think that they should at least try. I do try to respond to all the comments that people might make on my discussions and I don’t do many discussions because I like to do discussions when I think I have something interesting to say or a question. Another thing that I have noticed is that on one occasion the person responded to the comments but I think that he or she just pasted the same response to many of the comments that were made on the discussion.

Well, there was this instance when a member commented on all the responses to the discussion except mine... and i guess it was because she found my response not to her liking... because i actually wrote there that there are times when i use my fingers when eating... she thinks that is a yucky practice... she also removed me from her friends list...

Hi, Manong! I think some posters will skip a response or two either because of the responses do not answer their questions or have no point at all. Sometimes, they may even have no ideas at the time of commenting back all the responses so, they only get back to the easier ones first. I am not sure if there are posters who would only respond to the people from their friends' list. What annoys me most when I receive a one-liner response of 'Thanks for your response'. I have started a discussion about this before. Anyway, I think it does not really matter to me anymore. What more important is I do my part as I have nothing to lose.

It's annoying when someone starts a discussion and just left it hanging. I don't mind if the poster skips my response because I think it's worth it to comment on the response that really made you think. There are times also that the poster could not compose a proper reply for your response and there are also times that the response really is not worth the comment:)

I don't even go back to check if some of my responses have been answered if they are just minor questions with more simple answers. However, if someone was having a dilema and they were looking for advice and I really pour my heart in to my answer then I will always check back to see if they commmented back. I really want to hear their response because I am curious how things are working out for them or if my advice to them was good for them. I don't like it if I spend 15 minutes writing a long response to help them and they don't respond, that makes me upset, but some discussions I really don't mind.

I am still new here so nothing really annoys me yet but I do wonder why some people start a discussion and then do not comment on your response. I thought the purpose of a discussion is to keep it going? And I thought that it is important for the poster of the discussion to respond to ALL of the responses. I do understand that some responses are too short to elaborate on but the discussion poster could at least acknowledge the responder out of politeness. I only started a couple discussions because I would rather be the responder but I commented back to every one who responded to my discussions. Granted, there weren't many responses to my discussions but even if I got a lot of them, I would comment back.

I agree with you that sometimes it is very annoying that other just don't appreciate your posted discussions and even give a single response to your posted comments, which make you think if they appreciate or give worth to it.I have experience they same thing because I still have little list of friends here.

What makes me tick when posting comments on a discussion is when someone bothers to respond but it can either be completely unrelated or it does not offer anything of value to the discussion. it bothers me because I do invest time, effort, and interpretation into each discussion but it pains me to see that others simply want to increase their posting numbers.

I agree with you.I encounter once the posted discussion and I have responded by skipping me to answer back to my response because we are not friends here. Does this things really matter to them? If so, she can add me up to become friends.The more friends, the better.
