1. loganirado (252) | 3 months ago | It is cool. Your parents get worried and treat you kindly lol Just kidding, being hospitalized sucks. I had that experience several times when I was a child, I had those asthma problems, so every now I then I had to go to the hospital. Not good at all!

It was the most awful 2 weeks in my life.. I couldn't go to school, I couldn't do anything except lying in bed and watching TV.. I even couldn't go bath by myself..

4. radiance27 (617) | 3 months ago | Conratulations for never been confined in a hospital before. You must be very healthy. I was confined twice in the hospital before. I was still a litlle girl that time. I had pneumonia. And the second one ws that I was dehydrated. I can't really remeber my diagnosis on my second confinement. Anyways, honestly, i enjoy being admitted on the hospital before because I was really pampered by my parents and that everyone was serving me in the hospital, lol.

5. ckyera (2357) | 3 months ago | hello ayebelle!
i am just like you who have never been confined in the hospital...and like you, i am also thankful for that. i just visit the hospital for a check up and once in my life i have been there for a simple surgery in my knee due to an accident when i was still a child about 5 or 6 years old...huh! but i also go home that day so no confinement for me... but i know how it feels to stay in the hospital for quite sometimes....its kinda boring and sometimes irritating...hehe that's according to my mom coz she is always being confined in the hospital...and another thing is that its also difficult for our relatives who take care of us while we are there...i also know the feeling coz we experienced that when my grandmother has been confined for about or more than a month...huh!

6. LdeL0318 (509) | 3 months ago | That was good for you. I cannot recall how many times I have been confined in a hospital. But I do remember the last two because they are more recent. Back in 2007 I was hospitalized for a couple of weeks. I had an operation due to ovarian cyst. My left ovary were removed together with the cyst which is almost as big as my fist already. That was really one the experiences which I don't like to happen again. The most recent is back in 2008, month of June. I was rushed to the hospital due to severe stomach pain. I was so scared that time because I thought that it was due to another ovarian cyst again since the doctor said that my right ovary still has the possibility to have that again. Luckily it was just gastritis that is making my stomach in pain. It took me several days in the hospital that time.

7. shadow41 (835) | 3 months ago | Oh you're not alone. Me also have never been confined in a hospital. But I can tell you how patients react or behave by objectively observing them when they're hospitalized. I see they feel pain by looking at their gestures and facial expressions as med techs inserts their needles and extract blood from them. Eheheh.:p And most importantly they confess that they're experiencing some kind of a fear. Fear of the unknown my dear..

8. maximax8 (10443) | 3 months ago | I don't like hospitals so I have had three home births. When I was 22 years old my older son was born. I had a water birth at home which was delightful. However afterwards I had a retained placenta. I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and had a manual removal which was incredibly painful. I stayed for as little time as possible before I went home. It was a matter of two or so hours.
When I was 36 years old my daughter was born at home on my sofa. After her birth I had much difficulty delivering the placenta. It came out with four blood clots. I lost two and a half liters of blood. My blood pressure went very low and I kept fainting. I was taken to hospital to a high dependency unit. I discharged myself after two days. I hated it there. I saw many different staff including a consultant that scared me by saying I would probably die. I proved her wrong I am glad to say. I went to my local hospital for two more nights. I rushed to get home but needed six weeks taking things easy.

irishidid (3039) | 3 months ago | It's good to do the home births if you can. My first baby was a c-section so I had to be in a hospital. With the other two they were natural but had to be helped out because my pelvic bone is deformed from an accident when I was four. I could push all day and baby isn't going to come out on its own. Some people just shouldn't be in the medical field. Telling someone they are going to die is just beyond insensitive.

9. babykeka80 (1169) | 3 months ago | I have never been in a hospital for illness either. I was however kept overnight when I had my daughters. That was the only two times I was in the hospital. It is a boring and awkward place though. I cannot imagine being there for weeks like many people are. The one thing I remember from the three total days I have been there was that they would tell you to get plenty of rest and the nurses and housekeeping kept coming in and waking us up.

10. Binthu (2963) | 3 months ago | Hi Ayebelle,
Hospital is one of the best place to give the life to many more million of peoples, so we have to loved the hospitals as well as all the medical professionals. Most of the peoples would consider the medical professional as a god after the real god, so I have liked the hospital . Most of the hospital looks like good with good smell of antiseptic with great cleanness and also accepted by most of the peoples. So the ill pastients will come to the hospital and be returned with more happy on their face. I used to been in the hospital at many times because one of my friend working as a doctor in this hospital.
Have a great day.
